Strawberries with cream, cuernitos, cochinadas and elites are very delicious. I recommend it, everything is good here. I have been here for many years and there are some of my favorites.

I went to this restaurant before a concert with another couple. We sat in the Quad outside which was very nice. The service was great, it was a cool atmosphere and I enjoyed the food. The way I look at restaurants is simple, would I go back? The answer is yes and I hope the weather is nice and I can sit outside again.

Have been here a few times for work dinners and have always been impressed with service and the food. The avocado Margarita is delicious and anything we have ever ordered food wise has been clean plated. If you are booking for a large party, this place is popular so you are going to need to book well in advance. I absolutely recommend this place for dinner if you are in the area

Final meal in Dallas - Tex Mex. Ordered their special - cup of pozole verde and one Del Mar enchilada with rice and beans. The pozole was really sour yet salty. Needed a lot of tortilla chips to balance the flavor. Mistake on pairing it with the Del Mar enchilada. The soup and the enchilada shared the same base - tomatillo sauce. The enchilada though was even more sour. Very fishy (mushy crab), very sour - very strange combination. I tried reading other reviews who ordered the same dish - they all seemed to love it! Maybe it's an acquired taste? Overall - perhaps I ordered the wrong dish but for now.. guess I'm not a fan of Tex Mex.

My expiernce at Meso Maya can be described as a tasteful brunch with good company. Walking in the host were greeted us almost immediately. They sat us at a comfortable booth, the good type of booth that's has soft seats. Our service was nice and checking on us frequently. I had ordered the vegetable enchiladas; which is a good choice for vegetarians! For starters my party got the ceviche which was a good size ad tasted great. And dessert was definitely something worth getting! I had the berry cake and icecream and that was a huge plate,so I recommend having 2 others with you to finish it. Overall wonderful experience!

Great place to come on a Friday night. We were visiting from NYC and portions were HUGE. I never in my life had so big portion size. I ordered ceviche salad and it was enormous. Guacamole was fresh and tasty. The blueberry dessert really stood out. I would say food was more then outstanding. Service was great as well. The only issue, we were sitting next to the door and people kept opening the door and cold air kept coming in. Bathroom was super clean and well maintained. Great Texas experience.

These guys continue to impress in unexpected ways. I am usually a straight up Tex Mex fan and find nothing better than a plate of piping hot cheese enchiladas covered in chili con carne with rice and beans. However, in an effort to curtail my expanding waistline, I've committed to better eating habits and thought, I would start with replacing my preferred plate with a healthy alternative. In that vain, we ordered salmon with a great adobo type sauce along with roasted Brussel sprouts and a bowl of Chicken Posole Verde. Wow! All the food was exceptional. The fish prepared perfectly and the sauce sublime. The soup was astonishing and was a great buffer against the chilly nite air. In addition, they have fantastic chips and salsa and I limited myself to only 4 chips! I walked away happy knowing I can eat a satisfying meal out at a Mexican restaurant without sacrificing healthy eating. Highly recommend you try an item or two that you wouldn't normally otherwise. Good eating.

Drinks: Avocado Margarita is 5 stars!!!! Best item from entire visit. You imagine guac with a straw, but then a silky creamy marg with notes of pineapple arrives!!! Love it!! Service: Server was very attentive and suggested items from the menu. Chips and Salsa: odd shaped fresh chips with a charred tomatoe salsa. Entree: Budin Azteca aka Mexican Lasagna. I ordered the carne- arugula, tender beef tenderloin tips and cubed potatoes in a sea red sauce topping the tortilla lasagna. Wonderful concept, but absolutely no flavor even after adding salt. Sidenote: chairs are flimsy, so if you put your purse on the chair it will tip over, and you will fall, and the manager will try to make you sign a waiver.

We order 2 pollo tacos and the steak quesadilla. Only 1 taco was given. The quesadilla meat wasn't distributed proportionally and there was only one meat in the quesadilla at the end. Waste of quesadilla when you are sharing. Overall the food is good. Not bomb something I can make at home. But there are birds flying everywhere. Other than that it was a cool atmosphere.

Food were served amazingly fast. We got our food and drink in 3 min after we put our orders! And it was a Friday night. Short ribs were a little bit too salty, but the sauce in it was fantastic. The fried pepper on the side were filled with cheese, but I am not a cheese fan. Therefore it does not earn my favor. The ceviche and sweet corn tamal were good as well. The most impressive thing we had was the sauce which came with the free nachos.

This time around I was finally able to get a table without having to wait too long. I had not been able to dine here in previous 2 trips to DFW because of the wait time for a table. Not disappointed at all. The service was prompt and warm, with the kind of can-do attitude that puts you at ease when you have questions or special requests about the menu. I enjoyed my meal and my drinks in this establishment, I definitely look foward to returning with better company, as I was alone this time around.

Phenomenal! I really enjoyed Meso Maya. My initial impression of their waitstaff was pretty poor, the hostesses seemed unorganized and stressed, and then when we were seated, it took 10 minutes for anyone to come over to us. BUT once we were attended to the service was great and the food was simply delicious! I loved their wide variety of menu options (please note, this is not your traditional Mexican American restaurant) and how our server described a few. Their queso was delectable and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Worth a try!

De-lic-ious! We came to visit some friends in Dallas and requested tex-mex but they recommended this spot and I'm glad they did! It was more authentic Mexican food than Tex-mex but man was it good. Chips, queso and guac were a perfect start. I got the carnitas which were tender and also crispy (they grilled them at the end to give them a crispy outer layer). Some of the others got mole enchiladas which apparently were delicious too. The avocado margarita was something different and I liked it but I don't think it was different enough to be worth $12. I recommend a regular house margarita instead. To finish we tried the flan de queso which was nice and creamy. Highly recommend!
