The location is as tony as it gets near the Richard Haas CHISHOLM TRAIL ROUND-UP, but the food has seriously devolved since the location was on 7th in an hole in the wall location, when prices were reasonable, and they did not have a taste of Dallas-pretenciosness, before coming back to Fort Worth after opening a location in Dallas. These are some of the MOST EXPENSIVE tacos in Texas. While Jennifer the bartender served 5-star cocktails, there was not a soul in the place on a Saturday night except us until well after 8 p.m. GO TO THIS PLACE QUICKLY...because if the menu stays the same they'll be gone before the end of their lease. $42 for chopped beef appetizer too small to share? Descriptions of animal sourcing that defy logic. It's beautiful in here until you get your check. You'll need to spend more than $200 for tacos if your date is not on a diet, more otherwise.

First, note that the location has changed. They're now located at Sundance Square, on 4th street. The decor and dishware are stylish and comfortable. The menu is Mexico City chic. My favorites: octopus tacos and tres leches cake. Excellent cocktail menu.Tip: if you're going with a group, consider ordering the taco platter for a selection of tacos. We hosted a group of 12, and the platter was a hit.
