Good basic food. We went for breakfast and enjoyed everything we ordered. Every corner of this place is SPOTLESS. We were happy to support this small local business.

Everything was excellent and we enjoyed our Mexican breakfast. It is a small family-owned restaurant. If you want to dine here, please bring cash because they don’t accept credit cards.

Simple breakfast place, inexpensive. A good quick place for a meal. Very clean. Only bottled and fountain drinks. We always have breakfast here, I like the breakfast burritos, good choice of other breakfast foods. Not fancy.

Breakfast was excellent. Lupita was by herself the first morning, but she got our burritos out in good time. I took them to our room and my wife could only eat half of hers they were great. The next day I ate in the restaurant, and they were very busy but my breakfast was very good and I order my wife another burrito, which she said was very good again. We also ate lunch there one day and the burgers were very good with lots of meat and fresh vegetables.

Messed order, then argued about it. Took over 30 minutes to get food. Sausage undercooked, hash browns greasy. Very unpleasant experience

Came here because the "new owners" of the Drug Store have elected not to serve breakfast. Please see my separate review. Lupita's has moved to a new location at the north intersection of 118 and 17. It has both indoor and outdoor seat with a menu of typical west Texas mix of breakfast items. Plates and burritos were both good with fair prices. Worth the small wait!

Asked locals where to eat for breakfast and everyone said Lupitas! They were right. About 3 blocks out of town- definitely a local place. Breakfast was delicious- I had huevos rancheros and my husband had a couple of breakfast tacos. CASH ONLY. ladies in the kitchen were great servers also. Will go back!

This is a cash only establishment. Lovely views out of most of the windows. The window that we were seated out had no blinds and the sun was GLARING in. We were there at 1030 amor so and they did not have any tea made yet. This is Texas, right???? Give us our iced tea!! The food was freshly made to order and delicious.

While everything else at Lupita's Place is great, pricing drops the rating. Sitting on the North-end of Fort Davis, at the junction of Hwy's 17 & 188N, the location is quaint, clean and staffed with friendly folks. The food is fresh and well prepared. But, with the restaurant being in a town sought out by Tourists and campers, the prices are much higher than the norm. Lupita's Place is not alone, as the other eateries in town share in the greed. I ate there twice, first time ordering the "Texas Tornado Burrito", a brisket based item which was quite good; but for $9 plus tax, it was a relatively small burrito and left me still hungry afterwards, and ordering two would have made for a very pricey lunch. The second visit was more satisfying.. ordering the Brisket Tacos. Plated were three medium-sized, soft tacos, topped with diced tomato and lettuce, with a side of rice. Still quite pricey at $12, but at least I left with a full tummy. So overall, taking into account that all of the other eateries in town are over-priced, the food at Lupita's Place is higher quality.

We stopped here for lunch because a mask was NOT required like other local restaurants! The food was good and cooked to order. Nothing fancy and a small menu but we enjoyed it very much. Thank you for allowing us freedom

We stopped in for lunch and chose to eat indoors. (There are some picnic tables out front if desired.) We got the green chicken enchilada meal, which seemed just a little pricey for the amount received, but I have to say I will go back to have another amazing apple burrito. Whoever is cooking in the kitchen knows the right mix of apples to cinnamon to fried thick tortilla. All it needed was a little ice cream. Friendly service.

Good food. VERY FRIENDLY. They were willing to make some changes to dishes to accommodate us. But mainly the food was fresh and outstanding. Really enjoyed it.
