A real vegan fine dining experience. The drink pairings are a must!

Maiden is a MUST if you are looking for a fantastic evening with amazing food. I am amazed that Ft. Worth has such an amazing restaurant. The 8 course spring tasting menu was off the charts good. The eclectic drink pairing was a home run also. I cant want to go back.

5 starsAMAZING experience, start to finish! Our server, Warren, was one of the best ever. The food was delicious and artfully presented. The beverage pairings, both boozy and alcohol free were wonderful. This was our first time and we are excited to come back and try the new spring menu that is coming next week. FINALLY a plant base fine dining experience that is both thoughtful, creative, elevated and so very special! This place is exceptional; food, decor, presentation and attentive service.CPardue visited on 2024-03-14

Maiden has such beautifully prepared and flavourful food and so much fun to have drink pairing both alcoholic and non alcoholic to accompany the food. Our server Shelby was outstanding, attentive and knowledgable. Can’t wait to go back.

I am not a vegan. Heck, I'm not even a vegetarian, but I do love great food and I really love a great dining experience. That is exactly what I got last night at Maiden. This place opened with a lot of buzz and it took me a while to finally try it. I regret my delay. The experience starts when you approach the restaurant. The architecture is funky, fresh, amd modern. That vibe continues as you enter. The space is open and airy with a beautiful bar and really cool and comfy velvety booths. We sat in a small booth, but there are larger curved booths that can seat 8 that made me picture Sinatra and the Rat Pack enjoying a night out in Palm Springs.Ordering is easy. It's a tasting menu which basically means items are pre-selected. You just choose between the 4 course or the 8 course. As a first timer, I went 4 course. Each course can be paired with drinks, which we did (go Wednesday for 1/2 off pairings). Our pairings included 3 different wines and one plain vermouth which was really fun and botanical. Each course (soup, veggie/salad, main and dessert) was fantastic and focused solely on quality and not quantity. As a notoriously big eater, I worried a bit with each course arrival, but at the end of the meal my appetite was satisfied and it dawned on me that perhaps these portions were more in line with how we should be eating. This place is special and unique and is needed in Fort Worth. It's not cheap (the 4 course is $90) but is worth every penny and I will be back.I can't sign off without raving about our server, Bird. The experience was made possible through Bird's overall excellence. Knowledgeable, professional, engaging, and magnetic, Bird has it all. I'd put Bird in the class of one of the best in Fort Worth. Go to Maiden and ask for Bird. You'll be glad you did.I loved Maiden and encourage you to get there soon. I'll be back.

Lovely setting, excellent server, and the spread was beautifully presented and every item delicious! We had tea at 12:30 and I was unable to eat the rest of the day. Lots of small but super tasty bites and the variety was delightful. Chef Amy dropped by and was charming too!!I wish I had taken photos - NEXT TIME!!

Every aspect of our meal was divine and transporting. The thoughtfulness put into every aspect of the dining experience is unmatched in Fort Worth. I am not vegan and I don't feel like this is an experience just for vegans- it elevates the whole city to have a restaurant like Maiden on the scene. Go! So divine!

This place is really special! We don't have anything like it in our area and I've thought that for years when I've wanted to go out for a more upscale meal with my best friend who is vegan. Sometimes you don't just want a restaurant with a vegan option (that's probably salad lol). You want a restaurant where your vegan friends can eat everything on the menu! It is what the growing vegan community deserves. I went for their afternoon tea and was very impressed! It was adorable and their pastry chef Stacy is soo creative! One of my favorite bites was their take on a lox sandwich which had brined and smoked carrot slices, cream cheese, and capers on a mini croissant-like bread. The flavors created were so familiar yet very much their own. I enjoyed their fig jam thoroughly as well which featured a zero-proof alcohol. Their tea selection is so fun and extensive! I was surprised to find out that it is unlimited in their tea service. They have a gluten-free option for tea and like 10 zero-proof alcohol options! The restaurant is just so inclusive and I applaud them. Our waiter was chipper and knowledgeable. The interior is so refined and I was tickled that the restrooms smell like nice cologne and have a whole ambiance of their own. Overall it was a fantastic experience for a more than reasonable price! Dreamboats Donuts and Scoops is right next door and the beloved Spiral is across the street. It's a great location and I can't wait to come back and visit for dinner.

My Vegan daughter was excited to try this restaurant. The joy on her face alone was worth any amount, but frankly, I was disappointed. I have no complaints about the food or service, but it was outrageously expensive for what you got. She had the included non alcoholic pairing and I paid a supplement for the wine pairing. My first two wines were nice, but my last two were sakes! Not what I was expecting, nor did I enjoy them. Our meal started off with a bowl of 3 seeds, over which they poured a partial bowl of clear broth. Little did I realize this was foreshadowing. Next course was a piece of baked cabbage about the size of my fist. Our entree was nice, but again, it was 3 decorated gyoza floating in clear broth! The dessert was fun and fabulous, but there wasn't much on the plate. It also signaled to me, that it was over, after two small bowls of broth, three dumplings and some cabbage leaves! Thankfully, we added a cheese plate to our meal for an additional charge, which was the highpoint of this journey. Next time we'll skip the meal and just order the cheese plate and a glass of wine.
