Our Birria tacos were delicious and the service was fabulous but the draft beers were $8.00 a pop!! I would give this restaurant 5 stars but the beer prices were very off putting. $65 for 3 tacos and 4 beers was overkill.

The birria tacos were full of fat. We left our plates almost full it was so bad. Would not recommend for birria tacos. It tasted like greasy barbacoa rather than beef tacos

Really great food, expect meal to be between $12-$15 before tip/tax, more if you add anything likes chips and queso etc.Chips and salsa not included free with meal. The food was pretty great and tasted like I was eating real, clean food, just kind of expensive for what you get compared to a few of the other places nearby.Random plus I noticed, the air conditioning in here is amazing, blows super consistently and hard but isn't too cold.

I always feel like the best Mexican/Tex-Mex places are those you find in a parking strip, and this is not exception. It's hiding on an odd, diagonal street behind a big closed building off of Camp Bowie and shares the space with a Chinese restaurant and Vegan Pizza place among a few other small businesses. They offer a full vegan menu alongside their classic menu, and both are fantastic. My go to is the carnitas street tacos, the carnitas are tender and smokey and perfect. They come with cilantro and onions, and that's all you need along with their delicious assortment of in house made hot sauces. They range from a fairly mild to a dark roasted chili, burn your soul sauce. The birria tacos are an out of this world experience as well. The salsa is fantastic. Fresh and bright, a little zesty but friendly to any palate. Both the classic and vegan queso are great, but I'm obsessed with the classic. They also feature a full bar, and while I've only tried the classic lime and swirl margaritas, they're both fantastic and fairly priced. You can also order them to go and for an even better deal during their happy hour. The restaurant staff is always super nice and courteous. You really feel the passion from the ownership and I've never once had an inconsistent experience despite many to go, in house, and Uber Eats delivery orders. A solid rock in the neighborhood, nestled in it's little strip.Vegetarian options: The restaurant offers a fully vegan menu alongside their classic menu, even so far as having vegan queso.Dietary restrictions: The restaurant offers a fully vegan menu alongside their classic menu, even so far as having vegan queso.

The food was delicious. We had a party of 5 and the service was great. The lady who took our order at the counter was also the bartender so it took a little bit for drinks but she was super nice and explained she was doing both jobs. I got the Nachos with Asada and it was such a big order I could have shared half and still been full. My husband got the loaded fries and the portion was also giant.

We really enjoyed this place for dinner. We are new to the vegan world and loved that they had a menu for vegan and a non-vegan for friends. The vegan trio dip, the flour tacos and margaritas were delicious. When they are closed Sunday & Monday they have vegan BBQ at the same location. We had it the weekend before. Food is delicious and the atmosphere was great as well. We will be back.

Overall, food just wasn’t very good. Pastor had a weird seasoning and was dry. Other proteins were mediocre. Beans were cold which should never happen. They also ran out of shrimp for tacos which was fine but I was still charged an extra $1.50 for it. Just not for us.

All i can say is I am so grateful to have found this place. Service was good from my server Vy and those birria racks are dang good. It is counter service and I like that because I don’t have to wait for a check, when I’m done I can leave wheneverThanks Vy! Had the best time :)

I went up there on February 15th, and there was a lady at the to-go who was not answering us. We finally got a table after she told us later, and then a waitress approached the table. The food was really good, and the waitress was really good. It was no service when we went to the door.

What an odd and disappointing experience. For a restaurant that advertises cocktails it was impossible to get one. The ordering experience is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The girl at the front counter asked if we wanted tables or bar. First we said table, but then she explained we could only get drinks at the bar. So we switched to the bar. Then instead of ordering at the bar, we have to tell her what food we want there on the spot. But only the food, you can’t order drinks there. After quickly scanning the menu with someone waiting behind us, we selected two dishes, paid (and got prompted for a tip for who knows what) then headed to the bar. This is where it gets really strange…. Normally the bartender is among the friendliest of people in the entire place. Not here. We sit at the countertop bar which only has one other person there. The bartender Jessica never greeted us, never asked if we wanted anything, never even glanced at us. So we sit there looking at the margarita machine, the bottles of liquor, and the draft beer. The front counter had given us a couple of cups for water but they stayed empty because there was no service. Finally our plates arrived and we quickly ate with the plastic (?) forks provided so we could get out of there as soon as possible. The only good thing was since we had already paid (and tipped!) we could leave right away.Food was mixed. Birria tacos were good, the Mariachi tacos not so much. No complimentary chips like most places offer. Overall a disappointment and won’t be back.
