The food was superb. I had the Short Ribs quisada & Relleno dish, my husband had the Posolé soup (was very good as well, although we make ours more like a stew). The service is always good. I'm surprised more people were not there but it was a Monday night.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp access right in front, service very accommodating. Might need help getting through the very heavy doors.

Delicious food and nice ambiance, we ordered a little bit of everything. The chicharrón for appetizer wore exquisite, the brisket quesadilla and the mole enchilada was delicious as well. The frozen house margarita was extremely delicious as well.

It was fine. We were excited to try Meso Maya, so naturally, our expectations were high. The service was outstanding! But the food... mediocre at best. The Povlani Queso (added brisket) was bland and uninspired. The entree... I can't recall its name, but it had Azteca in it... was very one-note and lacked texture. Though the seranno cream sauce was delicious.

First and last time dining at this place. Food is okay, nothing to boast about, but the way we were treated is the reason for this review. My daughter made reservations to celebrate her birthday. We were a party of 8, but all wished to pay separately for various reasons. The manager refused to split our checks. I have never in my life experienced such nonsense. He brings out one bill, we tally and figure our separate costs, then later gives us a separate one adding an additional 20% because he left out the mandatory gratuity, and then argues with us about what we owe. At this point, I’m unsure if this is common practice or racially based. Either way, this kind of service is unacceptable. When the reservation was initially made, all the little rules and nuisances should have been explained upfront then, not the day of because we definitely would have chosen to dine elsewhere.

Service was excellent, unfortunately a table nearby interrupted my nice meal by berating a server only minutes after their drinks came out over salsa and salt? The service I watched her give to this table was perfectly fine, she even served them a wine sample. I almost said something but decided against making it a larger problem. My food and service were great and I only wish I didn’t have to hear such ignorant things being said to an innocent employee in such a cozy restaurant.

I have ordered food from this establishment four times. With the exception of the first time, my order has been incorrect each time, once missing something entirely. I've never ordered off menu or customized any dish, I will just receive something else entirely somewhere within my order. I've carried out, ordered for delivery via Uber Eats, and dined in (my best experience for order accuracy). I have also, unfortunately, tripped hard outside of their restaurant due to the uneven sidewalk. Can't really blame for that, but beware lolAside from the inaccuracies, the food itself is fantastic. I keep going back despite everything because I'm in love. My favorite dish is, oddly, the Pozole Verde. It's both substantial but light, so we'll seasoned, and highly cravable. While I hadn't ordered it, I also have received the Red Pozole (minus the cabbage mentioned on the menu), which was maybe a blessing in disguise as it was also delicious. With the hominy, rich chili broth, and tender beef, I feel like I was drinking a sumptuous tamale.I had once been promised a refund from the staff for a missing item. Unfortunately, I never received it. It was only five dollars. I let it go. I will still go back. I haven't found a restaurant serving soup like this outside of our cities great selection of Vietnamese and Japanese offerings. The grilled menu is also fantastic, but I will wax poetic about the pozole until I go dry.For Pokémon Go players, this restaurants gorgeous stag Statue out front is a Pokémon Gym.

Every bite is incredibly flavorful. Dishes are well thought out, cooked to perfection. I will be back. Poblano sauce on the chicken enchiladas is heavenly! Alfonso provided excellent service.

We went to celebrate my daughter's 22nd birthday, it was the first time we visited Meso Maya and we loved the food, the service and above all that there were not many people when we arrived. It was a Sunday, between 3:30 and 5:30 not many people arrive.
