We tried this place last week. We don't live too far and I've seen the reviews. It was like stepping into an old school store in El Centro. The selections were few, but what they're doing they do really well. I had the carne asada Gorditas. The salsa was fabulous! Very hot, but oh so good! My husband had Gorditas too, but had barbacoa. Only go here for breakfast tacos if you want to be disappointed with every other breakfast taco joint. The lady behind the counter greeted me with a smile and even though we could barely understand each other, tacos are a universal language, and boy does she speak it. Was there a small egg shell in one? Yes. And I’d eat 1000 more egg shells to get to that savory chorizo.
