This has been my boyfriend and I’s favorite restaurant for quite some time now. Ever since new management has taken over, it has definitely changed the overall experience for the worse.The “new” menu, is really the same menu minus a few key items except the menus haven’t been updated so they show to still be available. Online the menu has not been updated either. Pricing/food has not been updated while it has definitely changed. (Prices have gone up, as well as menu items no longer being available.)The fish cuts have deteriorated drastically. On numerous occasions I have had to cut off fatty pieces of fish when I receive my food.Other times our call in orders have been completely wrong. I attempted to order a few orders of sushi, and instead was charged and given multiple rolls. (They provided us a gift card to account the difference so it isn’t the end of the world, but it should still be noted)Finally, their hours must have been changed and not updated online. My boyfriend and I attempted to call in food Sunday at 7:40, and the phone kept ringing once, and then going to voicemail. I eventually just drove to the location to order in person, and they were closed when online it clearly states they close at 9pm on Sundays.Overall it is just not the same experience. The quality, customer service, and attention to detail is really lacking. It is unfortunate because we really loved this place so much.I understand with new management taking over there is a period where everything has to adjust, however, it has been a handful of months now since management changed and it’s really just not a great excuse anymore.My boyfriend and I have been going twice a week regularly for a year now, and this has been our experience for 2 months.

Swing by for quick lunch, and was surprised by this restaurant. The place is kind of old and outdated, but the food is so good and service is great. For the price, which is below whatever other restaurant have right now, this is really good. The portion are generous. I had sushi ( which i finish before i remember to take a picture of it because it tastes so good ) and Chicken Katsu on lunch menu. Heard from the server that it is under new management, and they will remodel the restaurant to get it up to date. I am so excited and looking for my next visit whenever i am in town again. This is a hidden gem in the town. Looking at previous 1 star review, i don't experience any of the issues. It feels like the prev 1 star review is aiming at new management from disgruntled employees. It is great experience for me and i will be back for sure.

We were traveling and our kids wanted to find good sushi. There were 6 in our party and we were seated right away on a Friday night.Our chef was one of the best we've ever experienced at a hibachi grill, very entertaining to all ages.The food was cooked exactly as we ordered and so delicious.We had two sushi rolls that were very fresh.Others at our grill expressed this is their favorite local place. Definitely a hidden gem.

This is by far my favorite sushi place! It’s such a relaxing place to eat, the lightning is perfect and just makes it such a comfortable environment. The food and service is always amazing, but today in particular our waitress was the sweetest! Her name was Terry. She was so kind and generous to me, my fiancé and our son. An amazing lady!Our food was also delicious so compliments to the chefs!

While the location doesn't look ideal, don't judge this book by its cover. When you walk in, you instantly forget where you're at. Hibachi, Sushi Bar, or booth/table you can sit wherever you'd like. I came for the lunch special and got the largest fish portion which is their Sashimi Nigiri Combo. Honestly I usually can eat quite a bit of fish but after scarfing this down I was completely full. While the fish was room temperature, it was soft & delicate when consuming. I believe based on experience alone this is a very nice place to be. The radio is turned up a bit much but other than that everything tasted great.

The hibachi is good, the sushi isn't bad, but we almost stopped coming here because of the service... Until we met Peter! A young girl who obviously hates her job sat us a couple of weeks ago and she was so unfriendly and miserable that we almost left and never came back. Then our waiter (Peter) approached, and he was amazing. He brought us cold mugs for our beers and poured them for us, he was attentive and friendly, and it completely changed our night. We returned with family for hibachi, and we had Peter again! He makes the experience so positive and he has saved this restaurant for me. It's amazing what good service will do.

I order out here quite often- mostly sushi, sashimi & maki - and frankly I don’t get the complainers. I don’t want soup spilling on the way home I just want delectable fresh sushi/sashimi k o I Shii delivers! I have eaten Japanese food on several continents so this is a verified review lol! Highly recommended

The best sushi! My personal favorite the Ichiban. ( fried California roll) it comes with eel sauce and spicy mayo. ( i use the salad dressing on the side and the low sodium soy sauce)
Sushi was good. The place is dated and the hibachi was minimal in show. We order Coppola wine and they brought us another brand and said it was Coppola. So, I would say the wait staff was just going through the motions. Quality of food was good.

I'm new to the area and drive past this location often, so we decided to give it a try. After we were seated, I was no longer looking forward to my meal as it was clear the place hadn't been properly cleaned/ dusted in over a year. The areas that had decor (well within my reach) and the walls were full of dust- literal balls of dust! I would've preferred to leave at that point, but stuck it out with my husband. The sushi rolls were mediocre at best. Everything within the rolls was room temperature and the seaweed was chewy. Definitely not worth the $90 we spent. Our waiter was great, hence the reason for the two star review. I love sushi, but we won't won't be back.

I'm no hibachi expert by any means but... the food was excellent. Our Chef was on his game, entertaining the group while crafting some excellent veggies and steak. I've literally passed by this restaurant for 20 years and never thought to dropping in. For whatever reason it caught my eye today and I'm glad it did.

The food is good- the wait staff and "front desk" is awful - we had to ask a different waiter everytime we needed something because our waitress never came by our table. Literally never - We had to ask for our drinks after sitting for 20 minutes - we never rcvd refills, even when we requested them. we had to have a different waiter bring our checks and a TO GO BOX - They still decided to tack on an 18% gratuity tip for the waitress (we never saw) and when we asked them to change it "Jagger" as he called himself threw a huge tantrum about it - He was very rude, insulting and even called our waitress over and said "tell her what you think" it was all very juvenile. We we're never not kind to our waitress or anyone- we never saw our waitress - we just expressed our frustrations about the forced gratuity when we never had service from our server. It is very unfortunate that the establishment has such non professional people such as "Jagger" working for them. Non professional employees give the whole establishment a bad wrap - and because of Jagger and his fit, we will never go there again, even though the food is delicious
