The chocolate frosting donut is really good. Apple fritters are sweet and crispy, but I prefer Duke's donuts' Apple fritters. Their maple glazed donuts are lacking. On the plus side, their pigs in a blanket are amazing and they've always thrown a free donut or donut holes into my order,

The owner helped me realize yesterday that I’ve been a loyal customer for 21 years. So since they’ve started the business when I was 5! I’ve since moved 30 mins from the area, and I’m still a frequent customer! I’ve never tasted a better sausage roll, or been treated with the same kindness, and felt as seen and appreciated by a business like pioneer donut! Like I said I was 5 when they opened the door, and since the day my son could have donuts he has had pioneer donuts, and the owner no matter if he comes or not makes sure he has an extra donut or two on her to spoil him! If 21 years of business doesn’t show you enough evidence to trust they’re the best let this review be the reason you go visit! They are the best not just around town, but in the state… maybe even the country! I’ve still yet to find a comparable donut shop! 10/5 stars for the best donut store ever!!! Kindness 10/10, prices 10/10, customer service 10/10, taste 20/10!!

Love the small jalapeños and cheese koloche, the chocolate donut holes are by far the best, they cluster them together into 3 donut holes. Best flavor of chocolate
This place opens at 5am, but never has any donuts ready till 5:30. I've tried on several occasions, and it's always the same thing. If I could a half of a star, I would.

Very good donut store. Good quality, friendly staff. The main negative is all the aggressive tow-a-way signs in the parking lot. Seems like the land lord could tone that down a bit.
