i tried this place during brunch about a month ago and it was the best deal on the menus. $14 for 2 eggs, potatoes, bacon or sausage and toast. that breakfast was the freshest and most perfectly done breakfast I'd ever had at a restaurant. very high quality. I told my friends about it and highly recommended it. well fast forward a month and I finally talked my wife into going there on the weekend for breakfast. Sat down and they handed me the dinner menu. I asked for the brunch menu and they said they had people complain they wanted the dinner menu on weekends. Bummer. not sure why you can't at least keep the breakfast part until noon. so disappointed. wasn't that impressed with the rest of the menu. Cheeseburger with bacon- onion jam? No thanks. Please bring back the breakfast. I would go 5 stars for sure.

One of my all time favorites, the food is always on point, so are the drinks .Vegetarian options: They removed the bacon from a dish I requested and also almonds on the side . Very accommodating.

I wanted to like Plank Seafood Provisions. It's seafood close to our home. Chris, our server was great. We enjoyed the Beignet Style Hushpuppies. Chris recommended the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp. I thought the dish was good with the jalapeño aged white cheddar dirt grits, but I wouldn't order it again. My wife ordered the Redfish and we shared. It didn't have much flavor, and it tasted like it as overcooked, not like Redfish we've eaten elsewhere.

I looked at this place online before we chose this destination and based on pictures, menu, and prices, I had high expectations. However, I ended up being a little disappointed. The food was good...but not great. Based on prices, my expectations were a notch higher. Service was just OK when viewed overall. Red wine was served excessively chilled and had to be replaced by something of a more moderate temperature. One ordered beverage was forgotten until the server was reminded. Toward the end of the meal, Service had stepped up their game and things went smoother. However, combined with the perception of the food, it made us feel that our experience was a step shy of optimal. Atmosphere was great. Perhaps on another visit our experience might have been different, but based on this visit, we were underwhelmed. In short, your experience might be different, but we felt the dollar value left us a little short changed.Parking: Street spots are scarce. Recommend the free parking garage which is a short walk away.

Ambiance and service were great but food was not what I was expecting for a 4.7 rating. The oysters and horseradish were 5 stars. The sushi roll was a different take but we really enjoyed it. The curry rice we really liked the flavor but it was dry. We tried clam chowder which is supposed to be a little bit of an Asian fusion but it really didn't hit the mark for us and even had undercooked potato in it. The ahi tuna with noodles tasted like ramen with chicken bouillon for seasoning. It didn't have the elevated flavor profile I was expecting. Bacon wrapped shrimp was decent.

We visited this restaurant for the first time last weekend. Really nice atmosphere and decor. The hostess was not overly welcoming, greeted us by asking us “how can I help you” and confused we were there. A decent menu, but not overly full of optionsThe crab rice was something we were anticipating, but it felt a bit short for us, the beignets style hush puppies were the best thing that we had by far. Had to send my drink back because it was incorrectly made. We had to follow up and ask where the replacement drink was because it took so long, I just canceled the drink altogether. I would not recommend that you make a trip to this place, but if you are in the area and want to try something new, you should give it a try.

A great dining experience! Excellent staff, and extremely well executed dishes and sides. Had the Red Snapper w/ Brown Butter, broccoli and fingerling potatoes and was really good. The beignet hushpuppies appetizer was soooo good, and you HAVE to save room for dessert. The Butterscotch Budino dessert is one of the best desserts I have ever had. I would (and will) go back just for it. Highly recommend trying this resturant out!

I've been here several times and have never been disappointed. Plank has easily become my favorite restaurant. I love the choice of fresh oysters, and I love even more that the staff is so wonderful.

Good: Food was excellent, drinks were very tasty, service was good, atmosphere was fun.For improvement: Drink service was a bit slower I would have liked. To be fair, it was fairly busy, but felt like a spot for improvement.

Amazing food, wonderful service and perfect ambience! I was so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I think they need better marketing because it was such a treat to dine at Plank and it was not crowded at all. This is a hidden gem. I can't recommend it enough. So good!

We went for lunch. There are several "little bite" options, but very few choices for lunch. Almost everything is fried. The redfish or salmon sandwich is good and definitely filling., but that's the only real lunch item. Service was good. But I would like a few more choices and maybe something not fried that isn't a salad.
