Ribs were a little salty but they were good. It could just be the barbeque sauce. They were nice & tender. Your food comes out fast and hot. I'm Happy with my service & food

Good basic barbecue place. Very inexpensive. I had the stuffed baked potato with sliced meat. Also was able to get a plastic glass of wine there. The entire meal cost me under $15. Down home joint. Another customer was eating ribs, and they looked great. The barbecue sauce is good middle of the road: not too sweet and not too smokey.

Great lunch. I had the 2 meat plate, brisket was perfectly smoked, and cut to order. Texture was spot on, and was juicy without being greasy. The rub had a touch of spice to it, I think maybe cayenne. The ribs were also smoked well, rub was very similar to the brisket, and at times overpowering for the pork, but that's a preference thing on my part, quality was good. I enjoyed the green beans lots of onion, and bacon flavor cooked into them. The potato salad surprised me a bit. Don't get a sweet relish potatoe salad that often, and it had a nice flavor mix not overpowered by any one ingredient. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the BBQ sauce, which they serve on the side, and I didn't need anyways. Prices were also very reasonable.
I usually get the sandwich plate. It comes with two sides. More than enough for a meal and a snack.

Had the chop bun with french fries & beer? the first time here was great service2nd time around had the combination & plate ? beer was damn good and I understand they were about to close but no excuse for the bad service from the bartender it was like we weren't even there waited for about 30 minutes to pay so we can leave
