The food itself was very good. The sandwiches are big and filling. But they give you like 7 fries. I got the hottest spice and it IS ACTUALLY super spicy. But I did think it was super weird that they automatically take a “tip” of like three dollars from you without your consent. As you check out it says 14 bucks then when you go to pay it goes up like two bucks out of nowhere. Then on the emailed receipt it says “tip- 2.87” or something. Other than that it was good.

OMG!! I tried Smack Bird for the first time! It was good.. I had the Big Bird with fries.. Y’all, let me tell you, Those Fries are seasoned just right.. my chicken was crispy and juicy.. that Smack Sauce! Forget about it! I mean, Don’t forget about it, you will want some! Glad I gave them a try..It really did Smack!

Pictures are misleading went all the way there too get a regular chicken sandwhich with pickles and Mac and cheese , they only have one crispy chicken sandwhich and it was Buffalo kind no pickles on it only tomato .. and the Mac and cheese they gave me was veryyyy little for a $13 meal .

This one is an odd situation with how this restaurant works. Talking the staff, it appears the owner controls Cowboy Chicken and SmackBird, as this is in a Cowboy Chicken facility. There aren't any signs for SmackBird outside nor inside. We had the right address, and calling the number the recording states it's "hidden inside Cowboy Chicken", so we walked inside to see. There isn't a staff to take any orders, tho the staff of Cowboy Chicken did answer questions. To order, there is an iPad at the end of the counter to place the order and pay for the meal, all done on your own. Or the app can be downloaded and ordered that way. Place the order and upon paying it didn't ask about tips, that was another interesting piece. To the food... it was surprisingly really really good. The chicken was very moist and the exterior was very crispy. Wife and I both really enjoyed the food. Food rating.... 5 stars. However, the building, not good! The interior was absolutely discussing. There is dust EVERYWHERE!! The air intake and returns are caked in grime and dust, the lights, cameras, fire extinguishers, light switches, and pretty much every flat surface above eye level was dirty and nasty. I felt the need to take a shower just sitting there waiting on the food. We watched the rotisserie chicken roasting on the fire and saw an employee add more skewers of raw chicken, no biggy, he was wearing gloves, but then with the same gloves he cross contaminated the chicken that was done roasting by grabbing those and taking them off the rotisserie and placing them on the tray. Disgusting. We didn't get sick off the chicken we ate, it was deep fried, but I'm a bit afraid to see what goes on behind that kitchen wall if they don't care about cross contamination of food. If the place was near presentable for table guests, than this would for sure be a 4 star review. If we didn't see the cross contamination of food, then it would be another star added to the review. Again, the food was amazing, great flavor and really good, but the overall experience is a big negative for us.

Side of Mac-n-cheese missing so I called to get just that part refunded and Mark couldn't care less - no apology and said it would be refunded without saying the amount or any detail asked besides the first (very common) name on the order. How does that work?

Wings are good size and taste, get the ranch if you dont like Mayo based Smack sauce. Fries & Mac n cheese are simple and tasty enough. Wish had more wing flavor options but glad we tried it out. Order was to go and staff was friendly. It's inside of Cowboy Chicken so that was the ambiance.

It was 3 stars but now it’s a 1. They don’t have the pudding on the menu, you have to walk over to the cowboys chicken register and order it from there. Not only that, the prices are outrageous and they’ve made it even more difficult to order. Not worth it anymore. Just go to Dave’s hot chicken. Way better.

It was such a good suggestion! The menu is on a tablet on the other side of the counter by the restrooms but it's easy to use! The manager was so awesome and helpful! I got the double chicken sandwich and it was fresh and so delicious! The Mac and cheese was amazing and the pickles are soo good! The cucumber jalapeño lemonade was the perfect addition to it. For dessert we got the banana pudding and that was the perfect sweetness to finish the meal! I would definitely recommend coming here again! Fresh food and great service!

Run into Cowboy chicken for some good hot crispy chicken! Don't wait in line for cowboy chicken move by them and order that the kiosk! Chicken is definitely made to order! Hot and fresh! Really liked this Hot Chicken! The tenders are big and crispy! Fries are cool and different! Snack sauce is definitely the choice over ranch! Definitely order extra smack sauce as I used one per tender and one for the fries. I got the Hot Smack and it was so good I went again the next week and took my husband! The second visit my husband got the Mac and cheese and said he would get it again!

The heat is serious! But even through the heat, the chicken was very good and juicy. If you don't like the heat, order no heat and you'll love it. The heat might have been a tad too much for us, but it had flavor.

Woahhhh! That was some good chicken!! I am very glad I stopped by here during a work trip, top tier fried chicken sandwiches! I got the big bird, and it had two huge piece of chicken in it, big enough to make 2 sandwiches with, with some of the best fries (potato wedge style) I have ever had! I got the hot smack level... and as a fellow spicy food lover, maybe go with the lower level or ask for a lot of extra sauce, because that was some red face with a little stuffy nose spicy. This is a restaurant inside of cowboy chicken (another restaurant). So service is not very fast, recommend ordering pickup for the best service. Plenty of seats inside to eat at the restaurant if you want also. That way you can keep asking for more of that smack sauce cause you can never have enough. Love it! Definitely coming here if I am ever in FTW!
