The dumplings were AMAZING, but nothing else was super special. Portions and quality of food was pretty decent, nothing special though. And there was only one server during Sunday lunch, which made the experience a little slow.Parking: Behind the restaurant in a labeled lot.

This was a great introduction to Thai food! The appetizers made a perfect meal size for me. I had the lettuce wraps! They were Excellent!! I got tofu instead of chicken and it was the best tofu of anywhere I have had so far in Ft.Worth!Vegetarian options: Almost every dish has a tofu option, and the ones I've tried were fantastic!!

Recently, I held dialogue with a group of black men, discussing food options for lunch. After moments of debating, we decided on Thai food. SPICE Thai restaurant at 411 W Magnolia Ave, Fort Worth, is the closest Thai food restaurant near our workplace.Someone mentioned SPICE and almost everyone simultaneously gave a doubtful undertone of discuss. Wow! We instantaneously agreed that we’ve all experienced racial macroaggressions at SPICE Thai restaurant, from the Owner and some staff members, specially, the older employees. We all began to discuss what each of our racial experiences were. Some of the black men mentioned examples of, while paying the bill, or being greeted at the door or seated at the table, the owner or some employees would not show any facial expressions to any of the black men but would give big smiles to the white male and female patrons. This was experienced on countless occasions. All of these black men claimed to experience standing at the front door of the restaurant waiting to be seated at least for 10 to 15 minutes without being acknowledged or seated while there are open available tables! These men as well as I have noticed white patrons enter the front door and almost immediately be seated.I wanted to be sure that the initial group of men weren’t being hypersensitive or over exaggerating their experiences, just to be in agreement with the majority. I was very curious and wanted to conduct a small experiment.I asked another group of black men that have eaten at SPICE Thai restaurant at 411 W Magnolia Ave, Fort Worth, TX, and asked if they have ever experienced any racial experiences at SPICE? Every one of the ten black men; claimed of receiving different levels of racial micro or macro aggression. The comparison was based on the level of customer service of black males to white patrons. Additionally, some employees were seen being more attentive and friendly towards white customers, while seeming dismissive or neglectful towards black people, specifically towards black men. These examples are all anecdotal experiences between twenty pulse black men.I wasn’t surprised hearing the results of these black men. After speaking with these men, I felt it necessary to inform SPICE management of the findings and give the owners an opportunity to address the issue. These men in question and I will continue to boycott SPICE, as well as encourage anyone else that has experienced racial macroaggressions at SPICE to stop spending your dollars at SPICE until the owners hire black employees, and can give black men the same friendly, attentive, service with a smile service that is given to white patrons.

I liked the place. The staff were very nice, and helped me with figuring out the parking situation. That is always crazy over there, and especially on Sunday afternoon. The dining area was very cozy. The atmosphere seemed to just be happy. Like the whole place smiled. People were chatting amongst tables. We had a couple next to us that were helpful with the food selection, and friendly otherwise. Was the food the best ever? No, but that’s a tall order. It was four stars, and that’s not due to anything in particular.I am happy that I went there. I would return again. I will be recommending this place to friends. If your visit is anything like mine, you will be pleased by this place. It truly feels like there was a small NO2 leak somewhere, and just had the whole place giddy.Parking: Bad parking is just a part of Magnolia. There was a lot next door that was private. The business was closed on Sunday, so I took the chance that there wouldn’t be an employee in a bad mood driving by. If that is available, it’s a ten foot walk. If not, good luck with Magnolia as a whole.Kid-friendliness: The whole place was friendly to an extreme. I would be highly surprised if they would get upset with kids.

Spice has a great atmosphere, the service is slow, and sometimes more than not, I'm left standing at the door waiting to be seated. Depending on who's cooking in the kitchen Depends on how the meal will turnout. Some days it sucks, and someday it's decent.

I typically don’t give out negative reviews, but to save someone else the bad experience we had. Atmosphere and service was fine. Food was very disappointing. Pad won sen was almost un edible. It was disgusting. Penang curry was ok. They got my order wrong also. Crispy spring rolls mediocre at best. Don’t know how this place gets 4 stars. I’ll never go back.
