The service and food are always excellent at The Capital Grill in Ft. Worth. I recommend the calamari as an appetizer, followed by your choice of any protein, in addition to the brussels sprouts and lobster macaroni and cheese as sides.

Had reservations yesterday for early birthday dinner. This was my first time there. We arrived 30 minutes early. The nice ladies at the hostess stand was nice enough to go ahead and seat us. The ambiance was nice and cozy. Dim lighting. We had the pleasure of having Grayson as our waiter. He went over the menu and gave great suggestions. I started with a glass of merlot and my hubby had black tie margarita and he later tried lemon drop. Appetizers we ordered a dozen of oysters. Very good. Now let's get into this delicious meal. We both ordered the Porcini rubbed bone in Ribeye 15- year 75 aged balsamic steak. That was Grayson suggestion and he did good. I like my steak medium and my hubby likes rare. The flavors of the balsamic was tasty and my steak was juicy . Packed so much flavor. I really enjoyed it. Sides we had mashed potatoes, asparagus and delicious lobster mac and cheese. Very good dining experience. The manger came over and introduced herself.and wished me a happy birthday. They brought out a rose and dessert and we also had our picture taken. I will definitely be back. Thank you guys for a wonderful dining experience

Everything at this establishment is OUTSTANDING and perfection from the time you are greeted until you walk out the door at departure. Food and service is excellent and of the highest quality. The food wasImmaculate. My palate was exploding with such decadent food. Last night Chef Jess left me curious while being enthusiastic about returning for my palate to be satisfied once more. Honestly, can't believe I'm just getting around to reviewing Capital Grille but this place is definitely worth it. Staff is always friendly and attentive. That's the main staying power here. While I normally don't state it in my reviews, the staff is one primary reason why I recommend places. Staff is usually the defining factor in achieving 5 stars. Food is always excellent. Steak here isn't over seasoned and usually cook to perfection. One thing I do appreciate is that guests I've brought to this restaurant who have tried chicken dishes and always raved about it, something I don't say often about steakhouses. Ambiance is a mix of modern and art deco. I have always recommended this place when asked where to eat in Downtown Fort Worth. While Del Frisco is another go-to, this place is a definite must. My recommendation has led other family and friends to this location and they have not been disappointed.
So great. So expensive, but waiter was great, food was great, it was quiet enough to talk. Did I mention it was expensive? But so great. One other review said dark and dreary but I think we need more of that. The new lit-up places with nothing to buffer the light and sound are making me feel old.

I am disappointed because my husband and I love Capitol grille and we always come here to get lamb chops. We usually go to the Dallas location but we moved so we decided to try this location, called our order in and my husband went to pick it up. The lamb chops were not cooked the way that we usually receive them. Most of the lamb chops were just fat, barely any meat. The sides were great but the lamb chops just didn’t do it for me. I will still continue to dine at Capitol grille because I still believe they have the best lamb chops but just probably not at this location.

Celebrated my wedding anniversary at Capital Grille tonight.Matt the Manager went above and beyond to make sure we had a spectacular night. From the champagne to the free picture frame to the beautifully decorated table, to the outstanding food, to the customized dessert, etc. Matt himself came by to congratulate us and even brought our food. The best managers focus on the people;Matt is the definition of a great Manager. He is quick and efficient to fix any issues that customers may have. We were also given a card, signed by the team. Our server was great, customer service was great right from the door. Been to various restaurants and Capital Grille tops them still. Like I stated in my previous review, had our first date here and it was a beautiful night. Now, a year later with a beautiful baby... Capital Grille holds a special place in our heart. My favorites -Lobster Mac n cheese, fried calamari and bone in ribeye. All food is cooked to perfection. My recent visit to The Capital Grille in downtown Fort Worth was a delightful experience, albeit with a slight hitch in the valet parking, which costs $9. The location is fantastic, and the ambiance inside was more upscale than anticipated, adding to the overall charm of the place. The staff was welcoming, with our waitress being particularly helpful in recommending excellent wine and appetizers. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the ribeye, which was exceptionally fresh and arguably the best I've ever tasted. Although there was a minor mix-up with the gravy sauce for our mashed potatoes, the waitress promptly addressed it by offering a complimentary dessert, a gesture that was much appreciated. Overall, The Capital Grille in Fort Worth provides a luxurious dining experience with impeccable service, top-notch food, and reasonable pricing. It's certainly a place I'd recommend and revisit.
