I ate here for the first time today. I ordered the chicken fried steak sandwich and it was outstanding one of the best chicken fried steaks I've ever had. The banana pudding was also excellent and the service was also top notch.

Today was my first and definitely won't be my last visit. While looking over the menu the owner gave us complementary homemade porkrinds, throughout the visit the owner was very warm and inviting to the customers of his one of one restaurant. He clearly had lots of passion and heart involved in his business. That's always my favorite thing to see in a "new to me" restaurant and im always on the lookout for it.I had the fried chicken po boy with an awesome captain crunch breading and well seasoned fries and homemade dipping sauces. It reminded me of the times I get in the kitchen and experiment with something new and it turns into a new "you've got to try this!" conversation with a friend. The menu was full of really cool ideas like that. I plan on coming back to try more of them.

I've seen this restaurant there for years but I'd never taken the time to stop.I stopped by a couple of weeks ago and tried the Candy Bacon BBQ Burger Basket and corn nuggets.I couldn't finish the burger basket nor all the corn nuggets.He gives you plenty of food and it was really delicious.And the atmosphere is great.Well since my first visit I've been back 3 more times.If you ever get the opportunity to visit Sammy@The Singing Chef, you won't be disappointed& And I promise you'll visit again& you'll tell a friend. Prices are $10-$20 but it's definitely worth it.Thanks Sammy for the Hospitality& The Friendship I've gained. Much Love,Como.

WOW, this place is literally incredible! Everything was a 9 out of 10! Great customer service, excellent kool-aid, fish was perfect and so was the shrimp, I wasn’t expecting the Philly to be so full and favorable , it was amazing!
Can’t comment on the food but the hours state that the business is open 12-4 on Saturday. We drove all the way from Haltom City (30 min) to eat here and they are not open. We called with no answer, the door is locked and the Open sign is not turned on. I will call the next time before I drive out here.UPDATE AFTER OWNER RESPONSE:No parent should ever have to bury a child and I am deeply sorry for your loss.In response to the rude tone in your response…how unprofessional. Patrons…if you scroll down every one of his responses to a low star review is rude lol. This is funny because part of running a business should be the desire to constantly change with improvements. This owner needs to take an anger mgmt class along with customer service training. I wouldn’t return here if he were giving the food away! I pray for you and your business because customer service can make or break you.

We went here for dinner around 5:15 and there were complimentary chicharonnes, hot and crackling delivered to the table. I ordered the chicken fried chicken and I was immediately in love with the place. Everything was well seasoned. Sammy shared that there was about to be a change in the menu so we also got the chicken fried steak with loaded mash and simple side salad. We were the second group to get there and then around 5:45 more people arrived. The tables filled up fast. It was a chill vibe and the main room was full of Sammy's adventures and musical accomplishments. Definitely recommend.

Tired the chicken fried chicken, which was a chicken breast with brown gravy I don't believe there is an option to choose white gravy which I prefer however it was still good, the Mac spaghetti was decent. I also had green beans which were very well seasoned and good. I had the watermelon kool-aid I drunk it down so fast I can't even tell you how it tasted I was so thirsty ?. Small Lil spot over in Evermen, I will stop in again and try other items and report back?Price ??*UpdateSo the owners reply to my Google review is strange. Seeing my review doesn't state that I had an issue, it's states my preference. He also stated and then deleted that he would not want to serve me again, and I'm totally fine with that, we work hard for our money and choose to spend it where it's welcomed.
