Oof... Had high hopes for this restaurant but it fell way short. Let's start off with the bao bun filled with some sort of Mexican meat (beef?) Filling. It was a weird artificial meat mush which did not pair with the exterior Asian bun. Similar with the beef rice bowl. Weird artificial American Asian sauce that just doesn't work and ain't even close to Asian style meat on rice dishes. The rainbow sushi roll was fine but nothing special, fish tasted nothing to get excited about, not that fresh. Not sure why this place is rated highly, maybe because it's one of few Japanese restaurants in the area. Strongly skip if you're looking for good Japanese food

I've been wanting to try this place. I had the Tan Tan ramen and my friend had the Chicken ramen. We also had the fries with spicy mayo and Japanese spices, spicy tuna tacos, miso cake dessert, and Japanese pancake (the name is long). The service and staff were great and very friendly! The atmosphere/customers were not very diverse. The food was okay. The parking was horrible since it's such a small lot but you can park on the street with no issues. Overall, the friendly staff and great service made up for the food.

Parking lot is cramped but the inside is surprisingly spacious. It is clean and quite visually appealing. Service is solid. Sushi is well made. Cooked entrees are delicious and very filling. Price wise the items are quite reasonable. Sushi is, to be expected, the most expensive items. All around great Japanese restaurant, will be returning.Dietary restrictions: Raw seafood made in a separate kitchen from the cooked entrees. Gluten free options are present for those with Celiac's disease.Parking: Rather cramped, expect some difficulty finding a decent spot.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to inhibit wheelchairs.

I really enjoy this place, the fish is very fresh. There is a bit of a limited roll selection ( a few more selections without cream cheese would be nice) but the rolls are all quite good- the Tejas is a favorite. It is not really a type of place to linger in my opinion, its also very busy during peak hours.

Im sure food is good. But man do they take their sweet time with the food prep!! Expect at least an hour wait til food going to be ready for sure if getting takeout!! Parking lot is not friendly for bigger vehicles (trucks) as well as incredibly scarce especially when they're busy you probably have to park on street!! But obviously something good since usually packed house!

I absolutely love this place! I make excuses to drive 40 minutes out of my way to just come here. The Tan Tan ramen is a go to for me and the Tokyokonomiyaki is easily my favorite appetizer. The tok fries, edamame and bao buns are great alternative appetizers as well when we feel the need to mix it up. They’re always delicious and never disappoint! The sushi is also really yummy too. I enjoy sitting at the sushi bar where you get to watch them making the orders as they come in. Service doesn’t get much faster than watching them make your roll and hand it directly to you once it’s finished!Parking: Their parking lot is pretty tight, wouldn’t recommend taking the big truck or SUV if you can avoid it.

This is my go to Ramen spot but they have more to offer than just their ramen!Food has always came out very hot and flavorful! Have not had one bad experience here.Fairly quick seating but around lunch time you can expect a little bit of a wait time.*Pictures below give a better description of each item!

Tokyo Cafe’s sister restaurant Shinjuku Station closed earlier this year so came to see if this would be a good substitute, but it disappointed. The sushi is the same quality you would get on a cruise ship and although one of the rooms has a cool vibe, the rest of the restaurant is kind of bland. Wish they didn’t have to close the sister restaurant.

wow what a fantastic find! this Little gym in what I would consider to be and out of the way nondescript location - is totally worth your time and effort to get to and enjoy a meal. after spending quite a bit of time in Japan in 2023 it's very refreshing to savor these flavors and very high quality Japanese food here in fort Worth Texas. sushi was very good but my stand out has to be the yakisoba wow was it delicious and full of flavor. Romans were also a pleasant surprise. be sure to take advantage of online reservations as they were honored and processed exceptionally well
