Chicken used in the enchiladas tastes exactly like canned chicken. Bartender was beyond kind and staff was very polite. I tried to like it but couldn’t get past the canned chicken texture and flavor. The second plate they brought out was supposed to be fajita chicken. It was the same canned texture chicken just tasted flamed broiled and they poured on a cup of tomatillo sauce under the cheese that topped it. So that was not even edible. We use to eat at Uncle Julio’s several ago off the tollway in Dallas before going out of the country for over a decade. We returned but haven’t been back until very recently. We have tried several Tex-Mex places in the North Fort Worth area but my wife and I were both pleasantly impressed with the range of enchiladas, sauces, size of the individual’s enchiladas and flexibility of sides and choices. Ordered a chicken quesadilla to go, & it came with chips and salsa. I was very excited to see that. And the salsa was super yummy!! Chips had a great crunch as well. Great flavor & perfect portion. Overall very happy.
