The food is fairly good. Used to be better. The problem is the meat taste like lighter fluid. It used to be just the ribs but today it's the chicken and sliced brisket. It's pretty expensive to taste like lighter fluid. The coleslaw and green beans are delicious. I will say the burnt ends are delicious though. I think someone is hurrying the fire, but what do I know.

So I stopped in here to meet up with some friends from out of town. They wanted a taste of some good Texas BBQ. I had never tried this place before. Usually, I prefer Cousins BBQ, but there wasn't one close to their hotel. I chose Woody's as it was close, and they had a great rating. The food here was AMAZING! They blow Cousins completely out of the water. The smokey taste in the meat, the sauce that stays with you even after the meal is done, all lead to an amazing meal. I will not be returning to Cousins. Woody Creek will get all of my BBQ business going forward. Treat yourself to Ana amazing meal and stop in for some great BBQ.

It is pretty sad that only Active Duty and Reserve are able to get the military discount. It was my first time there and I was reminded to ask for my military discount and the girl said no retired Military get discount.
Loved the turkey…i guess it’s personal preference but I would’ve loved some sweet relish in it. I did like the flavor of it. The beans were cooked nicely as well but again personal preference of some dark brown sugar added to give a little sweetness.
Awesome food and we'll worth the price.Had the baked potato, the double barrel baked potato that is and my wife had the pulled pork sandwich and it was awesome too

Ribs and pulled pork were really good and smoky. Barbeque beans were good. Brisket was a bit dry and not as smoky. Onion rings were really good, but a couple had the batter not fully cooked. BBQ sauce was pretty good too.
My son bought me a Chop Beef Sandwich from this place and it was Amazing!! It was disappointing to spend $30 on food from this place and not even receive decent portions on my plate. I ordered through Uber Eats, but still- don't think I'll be ordering from here again. The brisket was bland, the potato salad tasted like Grey Poupon mixed with Cayenne, and the ribs were so small and skinny I don't think I even chewed it three times before swallowing. It just wasn't my idea of a real BBQ spot. Yep. Thumbs down on this one.?

Not a fan of this place at all. First time just traveling thru. The lady in the front asked me what I wanted. I told her I don’t know never been here. She told me where the sign was for menu. I asked her what style of ribs they served. She had to ask someone cause she didn’t know. She came and said pork. I know there pork what style. Just so y'all know they have spare ribs. I couldn’t hardly read menu left glasses in truck.Ordered Ribs and Brisket. No flavor at all. Taste like meat was boiled or something. No bark on brisket or smoke ring. Brisket was dry. BBQ beans taste just like there BBQ sauce. Potato Salad was different but good. If you’re looking for BBQ go to Brixs or Panther City.
