This place is closed. I live close by and it was a great neighborhood bar. I hated to see it go. There are multiple businesses that have closed in this area of west 7th. Between Covid and the luxury hotel being built across the street has doomed several businesses in the area.

I suspect this place might be closed for good. I live very near this location, and every time I drive by, it is dark and closed. My wife and I used to enjoy coming here, and the patio was very pleasant. But, I totally understand, when it takes 2 years to build a hotel that blocks the street and your business from view...anyway, the WOB website no longer lists a location for Fort Worth as of 12-05-2023. Sad to see this one go.

My wife ans I love this place because of the service and the people that work here. What a great time and the experience we have had each time we come here. Mondays are great and their half price burgers are amazing. Jay was our bartender and was nice to do business with. Highly recommend World of Beers in the grotto at Grandscape.

When you’re closed for renovations it would be nice to let customers know before they drive almost an hour to your location.

For a world of beer, this one is pretty limited in terms of beer variety. I have a fondness for the World of Beer location that used to be in arlington becuase it was there I discovered one of my all time favorite brews: new Holland's Dragon's Milk. We came here expecting some new discovery. But happened to choose a day that a UT group had rented the place for a college game and it was really loud. We sat at the bar and had a couple of beers that were pretty good, but not as great as something I might find at On Tap in Arlington or any What's On Tap location. We also ordered a Pretzel with Cheese and the cheese was nominal at best. The first pretzel they brought out was cold in the center, like it had been frozen and microwaved. They brought a second one that was better without any issue. Atmosphere is like the average Chili's or any chain sports bar. This location is a little challenging to park near. West 7th in general tends to be that way. Overall just an OK experience.

Gavin, the bar manager was incredibly magnanimous and extremely helpful and gracious to everyone in the bar... including me, on my first visit???

Our server was sweet but she was overwhelmed. She was the only one waiting on the place on a Saturday night. She asked the manager no less than 3 times to change the game for our table. Her manager couldn’t pull it off. We waited an entire half of the game watching it on our phone before we left. There were beers poured, sitting on the bar waiting 10 minutes to be delivered. We had to chase her down to put our food order in.This place could be cool but management doesn’t care about the guests, clearly.

Absolutely loved this place! The service was great, we had the absolute best waiter/ bar tender Gavino De La Vega. The food was really good. The place has really good vibes, a great place to just go hang out.

YA'll!!! Gavyn was our bartender and let me just tell you, he was exceptional! We've been here a few times but he is the best addition to a great place! His friendly, fun and yet still professional attitude made for the most enjoyable experience!! Not to mention his drinks were AMAZING! I'm so excited patio weather is approaching! We will definitely be back more now that he is here! You've made a regular out of us!! Thank you Gavyn!!

UPDATE2: I guess they have stopped paying their trivia host on Tuesdays and that is now cancelled until further notice. Not sure I'll be coming back.Update: The service here is terrible and it really seems like the owner has lost all interest. Many things are sold out and now they allow people to bring their dogs and let them roam around the restaurant including behind the bar. Having worked in the restaurant industry, I am very surprised they are not only allowing non service animals, but letting them wander off leash indoors. I'm a dog person and own two of them, but yikes. They are also now charging gratuity on checks for trivia night. This is my usual hangout spot on Tuesdays. They have a fun trivia host and pretty decent drink specials, which make for a fun Tuesday evening activity. We get food sometimes and it's pretty good and reasonably priced.

The food was tasty and so was the beer. I felt bad because I wasn't a fan of the first two drinks I tasted but our waiter had no problem bringing me another sample even though I was hesitant to ask again. He got it gladly. As far as food goes, I recommend the margherita flatbread with a side of ranch (this was special, extra delicious ranch too). I took a pic but it was after I had already devoured most of the pizza.
