Beautiful brewery, great beer, and a super friendly staff! This place is a must visit if you're in the area or 4 hours away like me.

DO NOT come here for the food! All the food was alright at best. The fish and chips were chewy and soggy, they got one of our orders wrong, and nothing was flavorful. Don’t get me wrong, the place and vibe was cool and the beer was great but if you are hungry, I would not recommend this place.

As a regular visitor, we were disappointed that custom flights were no longer available, but we saved money by getting pints during happy hour. We also ordered a pretzel, but the cheese sauce was really thin today.

We were disappointed that there was a special event and most of the place closed off. Had to settle for the tractor room. Ordered a pretzel, disappointment in the light bready dough rather than the traditional dense ? dough. Selection of beer was limited, so was seating.

Had a small wedding here. Staff made sure things were going well. Manny was attentive and made sure we were taking care of.

Lovely outdoor space overlooking hill country pairs nicely with crisp, balanced German beers — a winner on the road between Fredericksburg and Austin. We’ll be back!

Imagine if Disney world had a pseudo German brewery, it would be this place. Had 2 flights and a pretzel. Pretzel was microwaved to death, tough as a boot. Beer cheese had no character, I think it was cheap nacho cheese.Kolsch and Hefe were good beers. Porter and schwarzbier were watered down and wimpy, others were just averageAll the empty tables were dirty when we arrived. Had to bus our own table, no reason to tip, you fetch your own beer and bus your own table

Went with a large group and they immediately accommodated us. Waitress was friendly and efficient and the manager was attentive. The beer was delicious (peach radler). Lunch special was reasonably priced. Cream of Bacon soup with a fabulous pretzel was a unique treat! Hats off to the chef.

You will find drinking any of the beers a deeply satisfying experience. The schwartzbier in particular was a personal favorite. If you head on over to the tractor museum next door you will also find a bar there which must be the most awesome bar in town. Certainly the most unique. Our favorite employee was the tractor museum bartender. What a great employee, honestly give her a raise. We enjoyed every aspect of our visit from the beautifully cooked meat and sausage sampler (see photo), the museum, and the star of the show all of the beer. I'm from Colorado so I know my brewery scene and I'm telling you this is an outstanding find in Texas.

Very good place. Spent time there with my son. Good memory

The best pretzel I've had hands-down. It was so soft & light. We had the traditional flight and enjoyed each one - my favorite was the amber.

Enjoyed Sunday Brunch today. I had the Aloha Sandwich, which was delicious, and Apfel Strudel for dessert. Overall was a very nice experience.

Heart of TX Festival is a joke. Went Friday night and there might have been 30 people in attendance. Definitely more STAFF than cars in the field. Expect to stand in a dirty field and park your cars in another field. Except to be let down. We left after one band on a Friday night! We were looking forward to the last act. Had you posted/advertised NO SEATING, BRING LAWN CHAIR!! (Rather than you may bring lawn chairs) I would have made it. I have metal in my back and seriously NEED a chair.I even considered buying a VIP table that night, as surely there was plenty of room. But VIP was a joke too! Picnic tables under a plastic tent. Come on Scripps, are you serious??Monte Montgomery Band was great, but I felt bad for them playing to an empty field. The sound was good, with a large sound board. Other than that, the Festival was no where near festive.

The place was great! The food awesome! The place was situated in the a great place where you can enjoy the food and socializing after visiting the busy downtown Fredericksburg.. Service was fast given that it was a busy Saturday early dinner: Love the appetizers and the food was great!!
