“From time to time, we visit this buffet restaurant for lunch. I particularly enjoy their ribs and rolls. It's a great place to dine, but be sure to arrive earlylot can get crowded due to limited space. The dining area may be a bit cramped, and keep in mind that they close as the parking at around 2pm.“

“AMAZING FOOD!! Plenty to share! My husband & I split the seafood platter & had plenty!!! The service was great! We never had to ask for refills on our drinks. I DEFINITELY would recommend this place if you are wanting fresh seafood! Didn't taste like any of it had been frozen.“

“We ate here for breakfast on our first day and third day down visiting surfside beach once was not enough! The waitress was very personable, she kept our drinks topped off and made sure we had everything we needed for our meal. Getting to the food. It was excellent! (We had to come back a second time after all ?) My group ordered something a little different off the menu and everything was amazing. From the pancakes to the French toast the eggs and sausage and you can't forget about the thick cut bacon. There sweat tee was also amazing. I wish we had a diner like this close to home because we would visit it every week!Parking: Parking is limited especially during the morning rush.Kid-friendliness: Aren't we all kids at heart? ❤️Wheelchair accessibility: They have a nice ramp inside to allow for anyone limited on mobility to move around.“

“Visited from out-of-state. Got the grilled redfish and garlic mashed potatoes. (Meal came with coleslaw and hush puppies). Redfish was grilled perfectly… done inside, but not dry, nor was it wet and mushy. Potatoes were very good with a good serving portion. Coleslaw was awesome. I’m a bit of a coleslaw snob, but was very pleasantly surprised. Hush puppies, though, needed a little help. They were packy and not much flavor. Our server, Alan, was awesome. He was very pleasant and never let our drink glasses get empty. Will dine there again when I’m n the area.“

“Wish I could rate more than 5 stars for this place. BEST crawfish ever, amazing service, great vibe, good drinks, I have absolutely no complaints! Do yourself a favor and get a few pounds of garlic butter and Cajun butter mixed together extra wet you will not be sorry!!! Perfect spice level and insane flavor! We live an hour and a half away but will still be making regular trips now just to come here. Not a single tail left on the trays when we left!“

“This place is an off-the-beaten-path gem! We ordered takeout and will not order Chinese from anywhere else. When we picked up our order, the owner told us to try everything before we added additional sauces or soy sauce. And he was so right! The food was incredibly flavorful and perfectly balanced. We ordered the chicken fried rice and chicken with garlic sauce. The fried rice was amazing, probably the best I've ever had! The chicken with garlic sauce was sweet and spicy and extremely fresh tasting. And plenty for leftovers! We will recommend Taste of Nations to everyone looking for authentic Chinese! The owner is so friendly and really cares about his food and customers. We will be back!“

“We had a great time at the restaurant! The chicken lo mein was delicious. We enjoyed the Las Vegas, yummy roll, and eel cucumber roll. Very fresh and tasty. They had four sushi chefs behind the sushi bar. Our waitress, Hailey, did a wonderful job. She was attentive and responsive to what we needed as we ate.“

“We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. We came here after leaving another place that had a gnat problem. We started with a spinach artichoke dip that was tasty, although a bit dry. It was served with a fresh and delicious salsa. For our main course, we had grilled fish tacos and fish and chips. Both dishes were satisfying and well-prepared. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The only thing that could be improved was the menu variety, as we would have liked to see more options. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.“

“Stopped in for lunch while I was out for a drive. I intended to get the bangers and mash, but was lured by the weekend roast special with gravy, broccoli and yorkshire pudding. The roast and potatoes were nice with a good flavor (accented by the gravy). They did sprinkle some rosemary over everything which I felt wasn't needed and can over power a little. The pudding was just ok, certainly not the worst I have had. The broccoli was very well done. So many places try to fancy up broccoli and this was just simple, steamed and tasted like broccoli, not some sauce. The music is in perfect theme, perhaps a tad loud for lunch. Tables and atmosphere are all very nice.“

“I just had the most amazing lunch i've had in a while! Poly Pop is a Hawaiian Fusion restaurant in Lake Jackson, TX. It's small, lovely light atmosphere, full bar, fantastic service! The food...the food... the chef who designed this menu understands how to layer flavors and textures like an artist. The coleslaw is always a good indicator of the general quality of the food. It seems simple, but is so often neglected and left on the table. Poly Pop has fresh fresh fresh everything and the most amazing pineapple vinaigrette! The warm potato salad was beyond, and the pulled pork with pickled red onion and cucumber did not disappoint! They serve tea in the cutest little pineapple shaped glasses too! Highly recommend.“

“This place bleeds excellence! I got the double jalapeño cheeseburger. I subbed the American cheese for pepper jack and I added bacon with a side of potato wedges. The man at the counter was very patient with me. He explained that it’s all ground beef in house and that particular building has been around since I think he said 1954. I enjoyed what I had let me tell you flavor explosion all up in your mouth.“

“Lots of beer taps! Nice and COLD! Quick service. We had already ate so it was just drinks. But the pizza smelled and looked great! Everyone said it was really good. Was too warm inside to watch the game so we sat outside. They have plenty tables. Great place! Next time, it's pizza and cold taps!“

“We got the quesabirria, think fried tacos that you can dip in a soup like taco au jus, nopales (cactus) and an adult and kids quesadilla. The staff was very nice, the place looked clean and taken care of, and the smell was AMAZING!! The portion sizes were great, and the food was even better. So filling, very fresh, and so much flavor. I'll be taking my family here often.“

“Local treasure that has been here for a long time. Food is great, and they know how to treat their customers. This is a spot where the locals come to get away from all the franchise based chains. Stop on in and support one of our local establishments.“

“Family owned with owners on site. The basics (tacos, most enchiladas, fajitas, tamales) taste like good, traditional TxMx should and get 5 stars. It's not a fancy place, but it's comfortable and clean. We love that we can hear each other in conversation. We eat here or get our food to go often -- about once a week. Many of their specials are quite good; My fish taco was delicious. The shrimp in the shrimp taco may have been from the Gulf of Mx but didn't taste like it, and I don't like other shrimp; however, they said next time I can have another fish taco instead of shrimp. However, not everyone is as sensitive to the flavor of their shrimp as I am. I really didn't care for the spinach enchilada recipe. The traditional and strawberry margaritas were excellent. Our server was very nice, just new and learning the ropes.“

“Alright - it's been quite a while since I was last in town, but man do I get a hankering for breakfast tacos! Only one issue - been hanging with our Cajun friends for the month Before and let's just say I need a detox from eating way to much super good food (most all homemade outside on a grill or in a black pot) and, well, maybe a few more adult beverages than I should... but, TACOS..... I know - Taco bowl - upgrade to the fajita. Oh yes, that was just right - good balance between taco heaven and maintaining.... Ok, not destroying the detox!!!“

“The pizza was bomb, my husband and I agree that it's one of the best pizzas we've had (we had the Cowboy Supreme). Also the people seem very genuine and caring. The atmosphere is very classic American diner-esque with a lot of baseball memorabilia. Overall we recommend!“

“Perfect spot beautiful location food was good service was a little sparse it was the end of the night All in all okay experience except for the facts the mosquitoes or horrible and unfortunately the tacos were made with store-bought tortillas Don't ask me how I know just know that I know and now you know!Parking: You can't really park on the beach depending on the time of night and then the only parking that is marked for them and is a very small parking lot next to a bunch of condos that have reserved parking which makes it very difficult especially if you drive a large one ton truck like us!“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Best restaurant in Lake Jackson. We love Beef O'Bradys. The entire staff treats you like family as soon as you walk in. We have become weekly regulars. (We love Whitney) They serve Impossible Burgers ™️ Someone like me, who has a meat allergy (Alpha Gal Syndrome) vegetarian options are a blessing. The soft pretzels, fish and chips, and shrimp with fresh salad are my favorites. My husband is obsessed with the chicken wings and their burgers. Sorry, I have no photos. Our fat butts eat the food, and there is no photo shoot. ?Vegetarian options: Impossible burger.“

“The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is they were out of pulled pork. But for sure a great Barbecue place to stop at. The employees especially the manager on duty not only personable but professional. The brisket, chopped beef, and sausage were all on point though the brisket was a little dryer than I like but still fall apart good. The Pinto beans were great and the coleslaw was decent. I accidently left my wallet on the counter for the first time every and had hundreds of dollars in it. The cashier walked it to my table and gave it to me. I was and am elated that goof people with ethics and morals still are around and raised right. Brian's Barbecue has a very rich history as the pictures show. It's one of those hold in the walls places you MUST visit if just too look at the walls and the Texas history on them. I'll definitely be going back.Parking: Plenty of parking availability“

“One of the best pizzas that I've ever had. I have 6 decades experiencing eating Pizza in almost every US state, also specifically in New York and also Chicago. The crust and the sauce at CCP are excellent and have been consistent with all three or four times I've been there.“

“I haven't been able to go out for a weekday breakfast in quite awhile, but it was a treat by friends so why say no!? There was maybe a 1 minute wait to be seated but the crowd was more than I'd expected. The table was clean and the waitress appeared immediately for coffee/juice orders. She was friendly and gave us our menus, took our orders for coffee and 1 hot decaf tea with lemon. She returned shortly bringing the drink orders and got the decaf hot tea order w/lemon correct which brought a big smile from my friend. Shed given us time to read the menu as we'd asked. The food was brought out about 15 minutes later and she didn't even glance around before she placed the right orders in front of the right person. It was really really good to have my eggs still hot! A great start to the day. The woman who'd seated us was helping the waiters clear tables in the area and was talking with us as we got up to leave, and making sure our breakfast and service were good. Really pleasant staff and the breakfast was awesome. The restroom was clean and the dining area was swept clean.Plenty of parking front with addt'lvin the back. Three wheelchair accessible spots as well.Parking: Parking in the back of the restaurant as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair Accessible“

“BEST TRADITIONAL REUBEN SANDWICH I'VE HAD IN YEARS! Beats all I've had except those from Kahn's in the Village and Epicureans (not Rice); sadly, both closed some time ago.I've had this one twice in eight days just to confirm; I even got one more to go :). Skip the turkey version and put the dressing on the side if you're a purist like me. And get it slightly toasted if you like more robust bread. Nom nom!“

“the flavor of the foe was Pho and egg rolls were delicious. the service was wonderful. however two things. one the beef in the Pho was as tough as shoe leather. I also think their egg drop soup could use some flavor. 2nd management needs to work on some simple little things, like new menu covers & fixing the table feet. (that was a stack of 6 or 8 cardboard coasters and the edges we're all nasty where they have been mopped around)“

“Hands down the best tacos I have had in DFW!! I first had these during my residency at BUMC with my co-residents. Through the years they have remained my favorite taco in DFW. The el pastor is the best taco for sure!! The tacos even heat up well as leftovers, so don't be afraid to take some home! The service is always so sweet and welcoming, and they are super quick in making the food too! Don't judge a book by its cover on this one!“
