“The snowcones are amazing, the hot Cheetos and cheese are amazing, and the whole thing is awesome. Amy's service is perfect, she's kind and the sizes are big portions. Cool ambiance for a food truck and the inside is clean. She wears gloves and apron for cleanliness as well.“
“Came across K's while in Rosharon, and were caught by surprise this is located in a neighborhood. The food is amazing, true home cooking and the nicest folks. Highly recommend you stop by for a meal and apple pie dessert when in Rosharon.“
“We found this randomly on google. We pulled up and ordered 3 breakfast tacos and 4 steak fajita tacos…..DELICIOUS!!!! The meat was juicy, the tortillas were cooked with a little crisp to them…..these are so good! The price for 7 tacos was less than $20 , I definitely recommend this food truck !!!“
“I stopped here on a rainy day, in the mood for some authentic Mexican food. Tacos Anita La Veracruzana did not disappoint. This is a food truck on FM 521 in the Arcola/Fresno area. It shares the parking area with another business, so parking space is limited. I parked and walked up to the window. The menu is a little confusing but it's basically the photos posted on the outside of the food truck.I decided to order a torta and a gordita, both with fajita meat. I also ordered an horchata to wash it down with. The torta and gordita were both delicious. The meat was tender and flavorfull and blended well with the lettuce and tomato inside of it. The sauce gave it a creamy, savory, comforting taste to add depth to the bun on the torta and the corn shell of the gordita. The cheese was just the right amount, complimenting the meat but not overwhelming it. The lettuce and tomato kept everything tasting fresh. Last but not least, what is Mexican food without salsa. The red and green were both on point! While I'm not a big sweet drink person, the horchata was very good. This was a solid meal from a local food truck and did not disappoint. The parking is very limited but you can call ahead and order. It's located off of a busy road and traffic is a bit annoying around there but other than that, the service is excellent. The food truck operator is very nice and the food was worth the rain I stood in to order the food. There's not much to say about the ambiance, since it's a food truck in a very small lot on a loud road.I'll return to order the pambazos and sopes next. I'll also try the mango or piña agua fresca next time.If you are in the area, stop by and try this authentic Veracruz, Mexican cuisine!“
“First time ordering from this place and it will not be the last. This is a hidden gem on the west side of Pearland. We had the birria beef tacos, flautas, beef street tacos, and a chicken burrito. Everything was fresh, packed with flavor, and the perfect level of spiciness. We will be back!“
“This is a good food-truck-based restaurant. There an interesting collection of them scattered along this stretch of Almeda/521. So far, this is the best one I've tried as i explore one of the last underdeveloped areas near Houston.Trying to be healthy, I decided to avoid fries, so I ordered the salmon salad for myself and chicken salad for my wife. Here's my take:The salmon was properly prepared and nicely spiced. I eoukd call it superior to others I've had. The salad included bacon, cheese, tomatoes and other stuff, along with the salmon, on a bed of lettuce that seemed to already be tossed with oil and salt and maybe something else. That means extra dressing wasn't needed, but a small cup was provided, which complemented the 2nd half of my salad well. This meal was ordered after an intense workout session (at Bell's Life Enhancement), and was satisfying by itself. The shrimp salad was prepared in a similar fashion, but had added croutons, which were also well spiced. My wife could only finish 2/3 of it, leaving then rest for later. She enjoyed hers as much as I did mine.GiGi seemed to prepare a lot of to-go orders that were called in, several people coming and going while I was eating in the car. Next time when I know I'm passing by, we'll likely do just that.“
“The mini tacos are flavorful . The food truck is conveniently located. They have a nice variety of tacos and quesadilla options. There was a bit of a wait after my order was placed. I ordered the mini tacos and the quesabirria. The mini tacos gave you the option of 5 tacos with 2 meat options. I chose fajita and barbacoa as the meat options. The tacos and quesabirria were flavorful and filling.“
“I wasn't sure there were any good taco truck places, this far out of Houston area. But I'm definitely glad I gave this place a try. The food was incredibly delicious and not at all greasy like other places that taste good, but leave you feeling yucky. During lunch time they do get quite busy, but they seem to have it together with their pagers to let you know when your order is ready. I tried their huaraches, tacos and gorditas so far, and their generous portions of toppings on food (queso fresco and crema). Their side of Charro beans was very tasty, too. We're looking forward to trying out other items from menu.“
“Book Chuy's tacos for your event and you will not be disappointed. I hired Chuy's tacos for my daughter's sweet sixteen party. The owner made appointments with me prior to the event to see the set up area. He was accommodating to my food requests, and he delivered everything I asked for. His staff was professional and accommodating as well during the event. No problems, no drama, great food and everyone at the event said "delicious and amazing food." There service and food was worth every Penny and more. I had to tip them for a job well done. Last thing to say was their fish tacos were the best!!!! What a surprise we had with that option to get fish tacos. So yummy!! I will book Chuy's tacos again. Retired military veteran approved!!!“
“Mr. MadMax catered my father’s homegoing. The food was amazing & I did not receive one complaint from anyone. Everyone was satisfied . He was on time for this occasion and very professional. 1 out of 10? No he gets a 100!! Thank you, Mr “
“I loved ordering here when they were a food truck. Now they have their own building space! The food is super tasty. I always order their tacos and personally think their pastor (and food in general) is better than TJ Birria nearby. The workers are always kind and patient. I recommend trying them out.“
“Smells good as soon as you walk through the door. Customer service was excellent, music played was great. Yeah, their chicken and waffles is on point! Can't recommend anything on the menu because everything on the menu is great, but I will recommend everyone to give them a visit. My kids and I are definitely going back.“
“I came across this stand at the freedom over Texas festival. The line was ridiculously long (in a good way) but baby let me tell you I got the brisket baked potato with jalapenos and it was AMAZING.... definitely worth the wait for sure!! The next time I visit Houston I'm definitely coming back!!!“
“We've been trying to find a taco truck in our area for quite some time and are happy to share that we finally found one! We even got there 12 mins before closing (we didn't know) and they still served us happily. The meats were well cooked, no grease is dripping from your tacos and the salsa verde is soooo good! The red one is good too just spicier. They also give you a free cup of fideo soup while you wait! We're definitely coming back and I'm excited to try more items off the menu!“
“First time visiting I was on that side of town and wanted some street tacos . Google it and read a couple good comments as well the negative ones. Food and service was delicious with being professional. Thank you tacos was awesome definitely coming back.“
“I have ordered their “gorditas” and have been hands down THE BEST. The quantity of food is large and believe their prices are fair. Great customer service. Waiting time is low and have never encountered issues pertaining to my order.Parking: It’s within a gas station and can often find difficulty picking up food due to the limited parking space.“
“It was delicious! So smooth and creamy! I went on a Sunday and got one of their Sunday special flavors called Butter Brickle. I forget what kind of ice cream it was, but it had the yummy bits of butter toffee in it. So good! We will definitely be back!“
“Good tacos, cute store and mom and pop shop. The lady at the register is super friendly and the woman cooking was also super accommodating. They serve breakfast all day until 7pm. Had the potato and egg, egg and bacon, barbacoa, and tripas. The tripas were good and a bit crunchy, the potato and egg taco is fantastic, the barbacoa was good but a bit too salty for me. I'd come back for the breakfast and tripas. The red sauce is delicious and really spicy. What made this place a winner is the tortilla it tastes so good and fresh.“
“Best tasting grilled chicken in Houston made by the most wonderful people! Grilling chicken isn't easy but they make it perfect and fresh here where it's tangy and seasoned nicely, seared on the outside, and juicy inside. The owners have been a part of the community for a long time and I'm happy to support them every chance I get at their new (to me) location.“
“Ryan is awesome, courteous, respectful, kind, and goes out of his way to make sure you get what you want how you want and always going the extra mile to make sure your food is above and beyond what most people expect or get from a food stand. You can see in the pictures he doesn't try to short you on toppings or cheese etc. I've eaten here like 3-4 times now and wanted to share the very good experience with others.“
“Hands down has the BEST potatoes in the city! A lovely couple and family ran business. Great customer service and personalities that match their astounding food. Select any potato and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. My ONLY issue is I wish they would come to the Westchase area or the Food truck park on chimney Rock. They would sell out faster than usual! Hopefully they will in the future at least once a month and I'll be elated!“
“Man this place right here is a sleeper fr and definitely one of the best food trucks I’ve been to. I had got the catfish platter I want to say that come with catfish, shrimp, crawfish tails, fries and toast. And then a large side of Bayou fries. Food was on point from the look and the taste. Definitely will be back to try some other items on the menu but it’s a 10/10 for me!“
“Phew … this place, surrounded by fast food chicken places, blew them all out of the water!! They even did the fried wings with no breading for me!! Wow! Crispy deliciousness!! Everyone was so kind and patient and the other customers were fun to chat with!“
“My wife was craving pupusas but I was craving pollo asado so we ordered both. The pupusas were big and stuffed with cheese. The curtido had the perfect “pickled” taste. The salsa was tasty with a kick! The pollo asado plate fed us both and we had enough left over for a second round each. The pollo asado was very flavorful and the smoked sausages were a nice surprise. The rice was good and the charro beans were delicious. They had a good amount of sausage and bacon in them.“
“I could go on and on about the place but it's one of those spots you gotta try for yourself. Why read about it, just make your way there and try something different every visit until you find something you really enjoy.. food is great, the price is right, and the people are awesome!“
“Cat Daddy's Food truck came to the office for lunch. I ordered Fish/Shrimp with okra. Everything was seasoned and cooked great. Cooked fresh while you wait. A definite return is in order for the pork chops and chicken wings next time. Price is right.“
“Would be nice if there was a picnic table or another place to sit but the food was incredible. I had the chopped brisket sandwich and the bacon and jalapeno mac & cheese. Great flavor and portions. Had it for the first time last week and going back today.“
“We usually come for the usual mangonada, Rusa, and prepared apple. This time we noticed the fried Oreos! OMG, they are dangerously delicious, I had to tell my son we could only get those once a month. I want to try some of their other snacks on the menu eventually. Everything so far has been really, really good! And the staff is super sweet!“
“*They are located at 4501 Jackwood St., The new Houston Grub Park location*I love the owners of the truck. They are so cool! I need everyone to try this place at least once because the food is the bomb!! My favorite would have to be the j*** chicken tacos. SO FLAVORFUL! The j*** chicken pasta will be my second choice. Now, you'll probably be waiting about 30 mins for your order so don't say I didn't warn ya! I would suggest to order them first and walk around the park to check out other trucks or vendors“
“Wonderful family-owned business! If you’re looking to satisfy your Mexican food cravings, look no further! This place looks like it’s here to stay, I’ve been coming here for almost two plus years ?If you love burritos, you have to try them! But honestly you have to try the entire menu ?“
“THIS PLACE IS GREAT! The guys are pleasant and polite! AND THE FOOD is ? DELICIOUS!! All of the meats have great flavor, no matter what I try! Also I don’t get fat in my tacos or quesadillas like other places! I was worried I wouldn’t find a truck out here after moving from the city. I was wrong! Found my spot.?“
“This is my spot when I'm craving pastor. It's so good. I usually get it in tacos or a quesadilla or both. They got other great meats, but everytime I step up to the window, I think, man when your pastor is this good, why order anything else? Their green sauce complements it so well too. Just finished eating from here again, and figured it was long past due that I write a review. The family that runs this place are friendly and chill. This is one of my regular spots and I've tried nearly everything on the menu. I've never had a bad experience from this place.“
“Wow came here after a long day with the family and over ordered $30 worth of food. AMAZING - get the tacos...get the enchiladas...get the quesadilla for your kiddos...and probably everything else on the menu is just as good. Saw a few people here and the pretty lights pulled us in. Only BAD part is my house is an hour 10 away. Oh also the gentlemen working was so nice and gave my son the last of the melon Fresca - would give this place more stars if I could“
“Sketchy parking lot spot, but absolutely delicious tacos! Had the $2 chicken tacos option and they were simple with an excellent flavor. They use mini corn tortillas (street taco style) with a seasoned ground chicken topped with radishes, onions, cilantro, and a slice of cucumber and lime. Served with a very spicy green sauce on the side. Husband had chorizo for his protein and was delighted with everything. Excited to try a $10 burrito next time.“
“Based on the great reviews, I made this my first stop in Houston and it was delicious. I ordered the panpano frito and the pescado al ajillo. Both were really good and so filling! Each was enough for 2 to share. I will definitely be trying more things here. I do recommend calling ahead and was told about 25 min but they were ready in 35 min. There were a bunch of people by the truck but it was orderly and the ladies on the truck were sweet too.“
“5 stars for me!! Ordered to go: Salmon Bites, Chicken, Spaghetti, MAC, Cabbage, Yams. When I tell you EVERYTHING was TOP TIER!!! Even the cornbread was good! And not many places have good cornbread!!!Definitely making that drive again, highly recommended!!“
“I have been looking for a place that serves breakfast all day; that's not a chain restaurant. I think I might have found it!! Breakfast is my favorite food; I can eat it all day. So when Hot Stop pooped up in my search I jumped on it. It's a petite size outdoor building, no inside, order and go or you can call in your order. They accept cash and cards; however cards theres a fee. I ordered #18 Toast, eggs, bacon and grits with side pancake cooked crispy which cane to $10. I didnt have to ask for anything, she had everything I needed already in the bag. Food, salt/pepper packs, plastic-wear, napkin, jelly and syrup. This is exactly what I wanted and have been looking for. It reminded me of what my grandparents would cook for us any given morning. Simple and flavorful. They have lunch and dinner items if you are not a breakfast eater. This has been booked marked and I definitely will go back!“
“Fresh authentic Mexican food, low prices and high quality product. Friendly service and consistent with great taste. Glad you can phone ahead to order and pick up. Please support local businesses and stay safe. Worth the stop if you are within the local area.“
“If you're hungry for crawfish and want to leave full and your mouth burning from the spices, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! Absolutely AMAZING crawfish, great size and FABULOUS flavor! The staff was incredibly friendly, what a great way to spend our Easter Weekend! Will definitely come back!“
“This is a 10/10. I got the baked potato with brisket and I couldn't believe how huge it was! Literally two people can get full off of ONE baked potato. It was loaded. And tasted amazing. I also got their sweet and spicy beans and they are the best beans I've ever had. I also got the potato salad. It was ok. It wasn't the best kind had but I ate it. There was just a weird aftertaste. But maybe that was just that batch. I was hoping it was a little sweet. But the texture of the potato salad was a 10/10. Lastly, I got their peach sweet tea. It was definitely sweet but not too sweet which made it perfect. Go check on this business on trammel Fresno! I only paid $29 for what I got and I expected to pay more!“
