I had a terrible experiencing visiting this Kroger location. The check out person asked if I had a Kroger card, I responded no. He instructed me that if I wanted a Kroger card, I could get down on my knees in front of him, look up at him and start begging him for one. I promptly walked out with my groceries after he broke out in laughter saying its just my perverted sense of humor.

Rude management, the older guy manager specifically, and only self checkout was open when the store was open for another 2 hours.

I was grateful I got the food, but I had to put some of it back because I didn't have enough money. The price was so high I barely had enough for fruit and that was on sale. Even the price was high and somewhere not doesn't mean it give the people the right to jack up prices without a reason. It should be more responsible price than this even the milk was too high to buy, I try to get food at least once every 2 mouths before going to the store again or go to h-e-b instead.

I will never shop at Kroger again and will only shop at HEB since Kroger embraces tyranny. As of today this is What Kroger is doing... Kroger said Tuesday that it will take away paid leave for unvaccinated employees who get Covid and require some of them to pay a monthly health insurance surcharge starting next year. The country's largest supermarket operator sent a companywide memo announcing the changes, which take effect Jan. 1. A company spokeswoman said the new policies are intended to encourage staff to get the Covid vaccines, adding it will continue to offer a $100 incentive to all employees who become fully vaccinated. "As we prepare to navigate the next phase of the pandemic, we are modifying policies to encourage safe behaviors including vaccination," she said in a statement. Starting next year, salaried, nonunion employees who are unvaccinated and enrolled in the company's health insurance plan must pay a monthly $50 surcharge, the company spokeswoman said. But employees who are fully vaccinated are eligible for paid Covid leave, if they get a breakthrough case. Kroger is one of the country's biggest employers with about 465,000 workers. FU-K Krogers !!! People...masks do not work at all and covid has a 99.8% survival rate.As of today over 19,000 people have died from what they call a vaccine ,lol. My body, my choice !!!

Managers are rude. Had an interview yesterday at the hiring event and the manager seemed like he was already irritated with something or someone else. Had relevant store experience and my schedule was open to work any shift and when I asked a question about availability, Rocky, the guy manager became so rude to me. I mentioned I was pregnant and desperately need to work and he told me to try again after I have my baby which is in 2022! Then he just stormed out the room saying

Great neighborhood location! They offer all the standard Kroger-y things, and their wine selection is pretty impressive! Staff is always friendly as well.

At the gas pump on 18 Feb... while pumping gas, I got back in my car to keep warm, the pump didn’t click off when it reached full capacity it kept pumping and overflowed about $10 of gas, I got out when I noticed a smell of gasoline, I then stopped the pump but my car was sitting in a large overflow of unleaded gas. I went to the gas attendant and explained that the pump malfunctioned and all she said was ok I’ll be out in a minute. I waited several minutes and she kept looking at me through the window, several more minutes passed and she kept sitting and looking, I was afraid to start my car because of the spilled fuel!! She did nothing to assist me as a customer in a gasoline spill that could have been tragic! I know nothing will be addressed about this issue! Thanks! That’s why I enjoy going to HEB or Sam’s Club!! Even Walmart gives better service at the pump!!

I was very frustrated shopping at Kroger tonight due to multiple employees not wearing masks or not covering their nose. Hey Kroger management, read the memos! Wear the masks! We do! As exposed as these employees are to the public, they have a higher chance of being infected and thus can pass it to customers. But not this one. I'm not going back. This is a sign of incompetent management.

Considering a mask order for Harris County had gone into effect on Monday due to rapidly increasing positive COVID19 cases, I decided to visit this Kroger location yesterday morning (Tuesday). Apparently, someone forgot to tell the management, employees, and customers about this order because there were multiple violations. I saw several employees who had their mask around their neck the whole time including the older woman who waited on me at the deli. From greeting me to preparing my order to handing it to me, that mask never left her neck. Two younger females were moving about the store filling Clicklist orders. Their masks never left their neck area, even when they passed by customers. There were multiple vendors in the store, but I only saw two with masks on. There were multiple customers with no mask let alone around their neck. When I was ready to checkout, there was only one checkout lane open with a line of people waiting. The young man who was first in line had loaded his groceries on the checkout belt but had to go to customer service to get the cashier to come and do her job. I decided to go through the self checkout. The only assistance I would need was age verification for my beer. There was an older female clerk there who did that for me, but then decided to scan all of my groceries for me. I know she was trying to be helpful, but that was more contact than if I had waited and gone through the regular checkout lane and slower. I verified with her that this location was Harris County and pointed out the violations to her. She just shook her read and said she knew and wondered why there was no employee at the door checking for masks. It starts at the top with management which is apparently poor. This will be my last visit to this Kroger location as, from top to bottom, they have little interest in providing a safe shopping environment.
