Great service, great vibes and convenient location. The overall experience was great. The chai latte had a little kick- just enough to wake up your palate.

Great place for brunch. Very friendly service and quick to order. Indoor and outdoor seating. Food is all freshly cooked to order.

I have been to many Ascension locations, this one doesn’t feel like a coffee shop and doesn’t have the vibe of other branches, it’s a diner with servers hovering over you , music is hella loud so good luck working, if you are by yourself you never get a table and they always send you to uncomfortable bar sits even if they have tables open. I won’t return anymore rather go to a real coffee shop

Service is slow & tables are too close. Be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes to order and to be ignored multiple times. They literally have 2 waiters for 30+ tables. Probably best to try somewhere else.

Service was absolutely wonderful, we got Katy and she was super friendly and funny, also very quick and dedicated to her costumers despite how busy she was. Food and coffee was also really good. This place is a great environment for doing homework, professional meetings, or just family brunch.

Visited Ascension today! Our server named Katie was super sweet and kind, so kudos to her! I was excited take my family member and let them taste how delicious the place is! We ordered breakfast sandwiches and we also decided to order sweet potato-yukon hash. When the potatoes were served, they were completely undercooked. We had to send them back to the kitchen, but they didn't put much effort into fixing them. They overcooked the potatoes, making them hard, dry, under seasoned, and starchy. My family member also ordered coffee and it arrived cold! I ordered a breakfast sandwich on a Starship bagel, but it was so hard and stale that it was difficult to bite and cut with a knife. This was not the experience we were hoping for. Overall, the quality of the food was below our expectations, and we left feeling disappointed! The atmosphere is interesting for a coffee shop! The workers were singing out loud and talking loudly. When I first started going to Ascension, it was quaint coffee shop where people can work and eat! The music is loud, the bathrooms are unkept, and the overall atmosphere is not inviting at all. It’s not a place where you would want to grab some food and get some work done! Yet, I see people trying to get work done there all the time!

A bit pricey, but great overall experience. Ordered a plate I saw someone else have while walking in... Hippie? Ordered it because it had a heaping portion of shredded beets. I added chicken for protein and they replaced where the beets were on the other plate with chicken and put a spoonful of shredded beets in the middle. Chicken is additional $4 so it should have just been added on top of the original plate not in place of.

Possibly the worst experience I've ever gotten. The waiter was cool but the baristas were trash. We never got our mimosas or coffees we ordered. After asking for an update the baristas still felt no need to rush after an hour. Management did not get involved but I'm certain he wouldn't had done much considering I observed his behavior when we being seated. He tried to convince the host to seat a person that came in after me, before me. What a trash spot.

Service was awful. I was overlooked by multiple servers.. I'm low maintenance but at least acknowledge me. The food and beverage was great so I was hoping for a better experience. Maybe it was an off day..I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. If you try them, I hope you have a better experience.

Service was abysmal! They seated us outside when it wasn't particularly busy, provided menus and water then promptly forgot us. After a long while, I walked inside and spoke to the hostess who was rude and dismissive. Eventually, a waiter made his way to our table. He knew very little about the menu and couldn't answer even basic questions about the food offered. Bottom line, the coffee was great, the food was ... meh ... a bit bland, and the service was terrible. What a disappointment- I would still come back for the coffee though and it's in a cool area with a good vibe but, I'll take my coffee to go, thanks.

This was my second time at Ascension Coffee, my first experience was great. However, my second experience was not. The reason why I am giving ONE star: March 24th, Time: 12:10 pm ... We had a reservation, my husband walks in, gets seated and is not even asked if he has a reservation which is totally fine. Not complaining about that. She sat us at table 23 (I asked for reference), which is against the wall, small and really close to the a 4 people party. I went back and politely asked April which is the "Manager" if she can please get us a different table since we did not feel comfortable. ***Her answer was: " I cannot because that is the only table I have available" to which I answered, there's plenty of tables where you can seat us. She said " I have more reservations and therefore I can't". I said: I also had a reservation so I do not see the problem. She stared at me without saying a word for around 10 seconds. I asked: are you sure?" April looks at her tablet and says "that is the only table I have" I have more people coming, you can seat outside?!" At this point I am divided between: should I leave and make this experience even more uncomfortable for me and my partner? Or should I just stay and let it pass?. So I stayed. *** I thought maybe because we are just 2 people? But 5 minutes after she seats 2 people at a 4 party table, only two people!! Why did you not give me that option? April said she is the manager, I know, mind blown. How can a manager not know, and I am saying this as someone who has experience with customer service, that the customer is always right? And I mean I was not complaining about food, or my waiter which by the way was awesome!! APRIL: I wish that with time you understand and learn, that if a customer tells you he/she does not feel comfortable you DO need to be more HUMBLE and understanding of your clients needs. It does take at least 2 people to say NO. I would have totally understood if you would've given me a reasonable and more polite explanation, but what you did and said made me feel like I was not even welcome there. After I asked if you were the manager, I told you: "you need more training". I still think you need it. If not training on how to be a manager, training on how to understand your clients and show them that you are there to deliver CUSTOMER SERVICE and make customers experience the best, because no customer should experience this type of behavior specially form a "manager". I really hope that your supervisors read this and teach you how to be a better manager with your customers, and this review teaches you how to be a more humble, polite, and understanding person. This happened at the Frisco Location. The star.

Great service and fast internet. This is a great spot to have a fun brunch or do some online work while enjoying coffee/food/wine. They have very interesting takes on different coffee drinks if you are looking to expand your palette and the overall energy is very upbeat.
