I had not been to Babes for 8 years, and it did not dissapoint. You just tell them how you want your chicken, and they bring out the homestyle sides. Corn, green beans, mashed taters, gravy and biscuits. Delicious. There was a bit of a wait, and it was loud inside, but great food at a good price

Babe's Chicken Dinner House is a fun family-style restaurant with rustic decor and plenty of down home charm. You pick your protein, whether a half chicken fried, chicken fingers, chicken fried steak, or fried catfish (all of which are excellent), and they bring side dishes for the table until you've had enough. The sides are salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, corn, and biscuits, and all of them are quite good. Dessert options include cherry cobbler, banana pudding, and a few pies. The cobbler was delicious.

Not a great place to visit as the noise level is high. But the food is down home comfort wonderful.
Visiting from Canada and my first time here, Liv our server was truly amazing and made the experience so lovely and smooth. She is honestly one of my favorite servers I’ve ever had, she was so effortless and quick. The food was great, loved the smoked chicken, the corn and the green beans. Service is fast and atmosphere is very lively. It is a little too dark in there though

Liv was my server and she did amazing. We came in a party of 14 and she was so kind and brought out everything right away. She kept checking on us and making sure we had everything. She even brought me a refill on my drink and was so fast I didn’t even notice she came and left it on the table for me. I’m from Canada and never eaten here before and she explained everything perfectly. The food was amazing but never forgetting Liv’s hospitality. She deserves a well good raise!!!!!

Visting Frisco for a high school powerlifting meet.Long wait (was told 25 minute wait, we waited an hour, which should have been a sign to leave) no menu, mediocre food (quality does not meet the price we paid) and atmosphere was way too loud to enjoy as a family. They do not serve individual meals, family style only. It was our first time there, and will be our last. The outdoor waiting area pictured below.Busy, so maybe it just wasn't our cup of tea. Also hostess said they were understaffed and weren't prepared for a Spring break crowd. (Most patrons were not from the area either.)
