This is one of my favorite dessert places to go to! The staff are always so friendly and the cream puffs never fail to amaze me. Highly recommend!

Without a doubt the best dessert place in frisco! Amazing staff always ready to help and serve you with the most perfect cream puffs each time. My fav is the original cream puff with green tea filling! They have rotational fillings and each one is to die for.

First time trying créame puffs, what an surprising experience. I never though it was going to be cold and crunchy yet the filling was not as dense as ice cream or sweet as whipped cream. I really enjoyed it.

The server today was so mean and impatient, the kids were absolutely disgusted by his rude attitude when they put the hands on the glass and the server said to us “stop them from touching the glass, THANK YOU!!” I bet he himself does not have a child.

I've never had cream puffs before so I was excited to try Beard Papa's. They have 5 filings on rotation apparently. There were many options as we could mix the topping and filling. I played it safe and got vanilla filling with the Oreo cream puff. I think the price is also fair for the dessert.

The cream puffs are the best in Frisco! I love the strawberry ones with Taro! Their Matcha Lava Cake is a must. We always have such a nice experience the customer service is always so sweet! Favorie dessert place for sure :))

So, I've never had one of these creme puffs before (but they were highly recommended to me) so if you've never had these before I can give you a great American analog to set your expectations to.I had the 'Original Puff with Vanilla Creme' and to my surprise this combination tasted VERY MUCH like those eatable vanilla ice cream wafer cones (though the puffs are not crunchy, but light and crispy).The pastry itself tasted like the cone without it's vanilla flavor, but with the lightly flavored vanilla creme, it was nearly spot on in taste.After having this, I almost wished they offered a side of ice cream to go with it (especially since I wouldn't describe the taste of this as "sweet").BTW, the staff was nothing but nice to us and the puffs were prepared very quickly (<2 minutes) after we ordered them.
Really spit the n service, food came out quickly, and the grill change outs were very timely. It's an upscale kbbq feeling.

Liked the custard filled pastries but they are overfilled in a way so as impossible to eat without making a mess and the base crust is too hard which leads me to believe they're not too fresh. Taste is kinda "meh" too. Good for a snack while shopping for groceries, ensure you have enough napkins!

The cream puffs are super good, with my favorite being the strawberry topped one with mango filling. They still have other fillings that I haven't tried yet though, so hopefully one day. They have a base set of fillings that they always have and a calendar of special fillings that changes out.This location has been super friendly so far with the people that have helped me so far. I feel like it's always the same two people. I live far away from here though, so I may have to try their Grand Prarie location instead as it's much closer.However, I will continue to stop here if I'm out at this location in the future.

Beard Papa's is going downhill with the stores in North Texas. This franchise used to be amazing, the stores in Japan and Taiwan were wonderful, creme would be extremely smooth, rich, and thick, and the amount of filling in each puff is to the maximum. Every beard papa's I have tried in north Texas has been a disappointment, either the creme isn't smooth,too watery or/and the amount of creme isn't enough, which is my experience with the Frisco location. I was underwhelmed with the amount of creme in each puff.
