Dua Trattoria is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered by discerning foodies and casual diners alike. Our recent visit to this charming eatery left us impressed by their culinary delights and impeccable service. Stepping into Dua Trattoria, you're greeted with an ambiance that effortlessly blends elegance with warmth. The soft glow of ambient lighting sets the stage for an enchanting evening, enhanced further live music that fill the air. A guitarist seamlessly transitions to a violinist, adding an extra layer of enchantment to the atmosphere but not drowning out conversation. Our experience began with a friendly server who guided us through the menu with expertise, ensuring that our drinks were promptly delivered and our orders swiftly taken. As we perused the enticing array of appetizers, we opted to share a selection of starters: the Cevapi, the popette (meatballs), and the Burek. Each bite was a revelation of flavors, from the robust savory notes of the meatballs to the delicate flakiness of the Burek, filled with a luscious potato mixture. For my main course, I indulged in the Duas, a sumptuous medley of fettuccine adorned with jumbo shrimp, mussels, anchovies, capers, and olives, all bathed in a spicy Mediterranean sauce. This was a harmonious marriage of flavors, each ingredient complementing the next with a perfect balance of saltiness and zest. I found myself savoring every mouthful, and finished the entire dish. Credit must be given to Nick and his dedicated team, who have crafted a menu that transcends the ordinary, offering delightful surprises at every turn. Dua Trattoria is not your typical Italian restaurant; it's a culinary oasis where innovation and tradition converge to create unforgettable dining experiences. Whether you're planning a gathering with friends or a romantic evening for two, Dua Trattoria provides the perfect backdrop for any occasion. With attentive staff, exceptional service, and an array of mouthwatering dishes to delight the senses, it's no wonder that my companions and I left with plans to return. If you're seeking a dining destination where every detail is thoughtfully curated, look no further than Dua Trattoria.

We had lunch at Dua Trattoria today and were really impressed with our first dining experience there. We were greeted by a friendly, professional server. The ambiance is really great - warm, modern and very inviting. For weekend brunch, they offer an absolutely delicious and generous sized red or white sangria for only $4; we ordered both and they were equally good. Lots of choices on the menu and we settled for "Meat Lasagna" ($17) and a chicken/arugula (and more) entre called "Paillard" for $21. Both were excellent - just the right portion size and incredibly delicious. The working owner checked in on us to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction. But our satisfaction today was really exceeded. It is very rare for us to eat our entire entre when we dine out but both of us cleaned our plate, it was really that good. We tried not one, but two deserts - lemoncello cake and conelli. Again, we couldn't resist and ate both and they were equally fantastic. All I can say is this restaurant is really a gem and we can't wait for our next meal there.

Way Not Good! Arrived 6:50. Bread finally made it to table at 8:00. Salads 8:20. Dinner 8:30. (tasty but not worth waiting for) Restaurant is VERY loud. A battle to hear person across the table. Waitstaff cordial but never checked on us, apologized for delay, explained issues...just assured us that 'our ticket had been turned in to kitchen'. Bad and overpriced wine selection. Place was very busy on a Saturday night but it won't be for long.

Ambiance, service and food are all Five Star. From the time we walked in the door to the time we did not want to leave was all perfection. Our second visit was even better than our first experience much to my amazement ???

I had a private dinner at Dua Trattoria last week for around 50 people. I met with Nick before the event to discuss the menu. Thanks to Nick and his staff for making everything perfect. My guests were greeted by the servers and asked for their drink order right away while other servers were putting out the hot appetizers. Next came the fresh crispy salads and a wonderful selection of pasta entrees. Dua Trattoria staff made sure that none of the serving bowls went empty. Every detail of the event was perfect. Thank You Nick and staff for making this event so memorable. .

Had a wonderful lunch here on a rainy chilly rainy Saturday. My chicken paillard was delicious and served with a great selection of healthy vegetables cooked to perfection. My husband's pasta was delicious with a good amount of chicken and shrimp. Peroni on tap was crisp and fresh. We will be back!

Hostess, Server, Manager and bus lady were all attentive, timely and professional. My daughter and I dined for first time Friday, March 15th. Both the chicken Rigatoni and Veal Piccata were delicious. We shared a chocolate molten cake. yummy! Live music added so much to the atmosphere. Prices were reasonable and portions great! Thank you.

We tried several dishes so we could get a GREAT experience and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Their service was unbelievable from the waitress to the owner!!! Absolutely EXCEPTIONAL!!! I can not say enough about this phenomenal restaurant, other than you should get here QUICK, bc I’m certain once people find out about this gem, it will be hard to get it!!! After hearing about this place from so many sources I decided while looking at houses in the area to stop and try it out. The place is setup nicely but that's probably the high the menu is nothing to brag about and the service is so so. I tried the burek for an appetizer and a couple pastas. The burek was the tiny pieces dressed with some mozzarella. Overall $100 with tip and left still feeling hungry. Definitely NO BANG 4 your buck!

Went there for lunch with a girlfriend. It was not very busy. Service is great, staff is very friendly. Food did take a little too long considering we simply ordered 2 appetizers and again, the place wasn't busy at all. The food was good, I wish they had better lunch options, maybe something lighter than pasta but more filling than a salad and more creative than a flatbread. The have a very nice aesthetic and the restaurant looks very clean.

When I found out a few weeks ago that the Vllasaliu Brothers had opened a new Italian/Mediterranean Fusion Restaurant in Frisco(at Legacy and Warren), I was so excited! I knew before even enjoying a meal here that it would be phenomenal - we're talking 5 stars phenomenal. It's a family business and you would be doing yourself a disservice by not stopping by.My Mother and I have had the privilege of enjoying several meals over the years at Eddie Napoli's. Unfortunately, since 2019, I have developed a severe allergy to eggplants AND mushrooms, making it difficult to dine out - primarily at Italian Restaurants. Nothing happened at Eddie Napoli's, but I have dined at other establishments where unintentional cross-contamination occurred in the kitchen. I was apprehensive about becoming ill and the judgmental stares I would possibly get from other patrons trying to enjoy their meal, so I just avoided it altogether - that is, until today.Walking in, you immediately feel the positive energy and aura of the delightfully adorned, modern, intimate space. The color scheme is similar to something you would see in a professional interior designer magazine. Furthermore, the muted grays and hues of blue incorporate both Italian and Mediterranean elements that lend an intriguing aesthetic value to the space. We were greeted, seated, and handed menus by Sabina - our server - with a smile. I immediately felt great vibes from her and she made our entire first visit memorable. I told her that we were longtime patrons of Eddie Napoli's and had been acquainted with Nik and Louie since 2013. From start to finish, the mimosas, salads (Shope Salad and Caprese Salad), entrées (Meat Lasagna and Caprese Sandwich with Fries) and two desserts (Limoncello Cheesecake and Baklava Cheesecake)that we ordered absolutely hit it out of the park. The icing on the cake (so to speak), was the amazing cappuccino with just a touch of whipped cream and chocolate that was made by Nik himself. The intensity was just right and was a palate pleaser and a perfect way to end our culinary journey. Sabina checked on us throughout our meal, made us feel welcome, and made us feel like Family. I have already told her to expect to see us very often in the future. Looking forward to subsequent visits. Can definitely see us being regulars here. Food, service, and ambiance - all excellent. I especially loved the fact that the portions were ideal! Not huge like you see at other establishments. It is clear that the Vllasaliu Brothers have a laser-focus, passion, and commitment to high food quality standards while providing phenomenal customer service in an atmosphere where you are welcomed like Family. We will be back. Frequently.
