Good, but not great sushi. A bit overpriced, in my opinion, especially considering it's located in a suburban strip center. A hearty meal will cost $200 per person.

Came in on a Tuesday night without reservations and they were thankfully able to seat us quickly! Everything was fresh and delicious!! The atmosphere was so nice - especially after celebrating our wedding this past weekend! Highly recommend

Got Omakase with my girlfriend. It wasn’t bad at all, but it wasn’t great. For that price, I want each bite to be memorable. The sushi chef was friendly, nice and describing each dish. I just felt the food was just not worth the price. The atmosphere was ok, but the layout is just weird. The bar is small and there’s a huge sushi bar where you have to sit around a huge sushi prep area and there’s a fake tree in their way. It just was awkward. I will say the desert was very delicious! So it ended well!

I had the Mini Omakase and it was incredible and beautiful. The chef explained each piece before he served us. I recommend eating at the bar for small groups.

I can't believe all this time I've been in the neighborhood that this was my first time to find this hidden gem. This place was absolutely incredible and hands down the BEST sushi and overall experience. This place is in an area that so unassuming upon walking in, the atmosphere transforms into such an elevated place as it's such a beautiful surprise. I had the pleasure sitting at the bar as you definitely need reservations to sit and get the Chef experience. Sam assisted me throughout the evening making my first time visit an incredible one. She took the time to review and explain the menu. Each course I had was a surprise and delight. When the food was brought out, each dish was explained to me so I knew exactly what I was receiving. There are no words how incredbily impressed I was about this restaurant and would encourage you to expereince this establishment as you will not be disappointed. The former Nobu Chef's were spot on creating a home here in Frisco, as we desperately needed a place like Kinzo! Cheers.

The sushi was decent but the experience was subpar. We were sat at a bar and left still hungry after $600. And we’ve done that before at other places but you at least get the experience and it’s worth it. Will not be returning ever again.

Really good Japanese spot in Frisco/Little Elm area. It’s pricy but worth it at least once. The Chilean sea bass was probably the best Chilean sea bass I’ve had at a restaurant. Really good sushi, too (handroll and nigiri). The espresso martini was amazing. All the food we had was great (we ordered a lot).Shoutout to the green tea mochi ice cream and chocolate cake. Loved both of those desserts!

This has now become my favorite place to get sushi/omakase. I’ve eaten at multiple Michelin star restaurants in Japan that weren’t nearly as good as Kinzo. It was so good the first time that I booked a reservation for three weeks later while I was eating. I live an hour away and it plays no role in my decision to come here. This will definitely be our date night dinner spot when we are craving Japanese.

Everything about our experience at Kinzo was phenomenal, from start to finish. We were celebrating our anniversary, and passing our sommelier exam, so I wanted something special. My significant other had never done an omakase before, so after some research, I discovered Kinzo. Tae was our server, and was warm and welcoming. He provided sake recommendations, and was incredibly attentive. Chef Jin executed the omakase flawlessly, while providing entertaining conversation, simultaneously weaving in descriptions of each of the ~16 courses (I admittedly lost count, since it flowed so seamlessly). The quality of each course was delightfully top notch. To say I was impressed is an understatement. What Chef Leo and Chef Jin are doing here is beautiful, and the dining experience was unforgettable. We look forward to returning, as Kinzo set a very high bar.

We order some random things and all taste good the sashimi raw fish very fresh and sweet some food they refuse to make it well cook because will destroy the taste, respect that so if you like japanese raw fish you will like this place.

Absolutely amazing! Every bite was a piece of art, and you could tell a lot of care was put into the flavors and experience of each piece.
