Always been a favorite. This time the Mardi Gras roll had very little crawfish and caviar on the top and it was not warm. The crawfish topping use to be warm and lots of caviar - it's my favorite roll and I would like to see it return to its former glory.

The food and service were top notch. The variety was impressive. The only complaint is the table we were at was way too close to the rest in the area and every time anyone went by we had to lean forward and hope someone didn't drop a drink on our head. This was the only complaint I had and will defiantly be back again.

We waited about 28 minutes before anyone came to get our drink order. Had to ask the manager to grab us a waiter who had time for us. Then we finally get our food another 40 min later and it wasn't ours but the worst part is after my husband started digging in it was taken and sent to the table next to us. They're lucky we aren't sick or something

Excellent sashimi and sushi. We tend to go in the middle of the week as the weekends are very busy and attract a different crowd. We like a more casual, non rushed experience. Service is always good and the patio is very quaint.

Voodoo shrimp....don't hesitate just order it. Absolutely amazing. We also ordered the Steve roll and Toro which were both delicious and awesome.
My wife and I had not been to Kotta for about 6 months. We used to dine there weekly but had noticed some decline in quality of the food (not the service). It tastes like things are back on track. The service was excellent as always and the food was great. The Red Dragon Roll is a really nice addition to the menu.
We eat here once a week & tonight was the worst experience we have had. We normally LOVE this place. Seems to be slipping lately. Tried first booking our party of 9 and they said they couldn't accomodate. So then asked if we could split up and they still said no. Booked on open table and was able to do it just fine (don't appreciate saying no over the phone when you actually have tables open). Then the philadelphia roll we order every week came out REALLY smoked...to a point of unedible. The waitress argued with me and wouldn't fix nor took it off bill. Then one of the party asked for the sauce that normally comes with jackie chan roll....asked again...finally went up to counter to get themselves. Another one of our guests had the potatoes that come with shaken beef. ZERO flavor last night. It's like they forgot the salt or any seasoning and they are normally on point. It wasn't busy last night so not sure what happened. The waitress we have never had before either but she argued over and over on the philadelphia roll....no matter what you should listen to your customer & try to make things right especially since my mother that ordered it ...it was her only food for the meal so she went home hunger and paid for the roll.

We've never ordered anything that we didn't like. We typically eat sashimi and love their mackerel when they have it. There's a nice selection of different cocktails to choose from. The manager always comes around to check on us.

Our service was just awful!!!!! We were sharing a dish and had to ask the manager for plates because the waitress kept forgetting. We had to wait about 15 minutes for our drinks and it was not busy. She was not good.

Completely empty restaurant. Asked us to wait 1.5 hours because there was no reservation. Made a reservation on OpenTable 15 min after. Horrible customer service.
This place has a great vibe. Food is amazing?
