It's a fine banh mi. I've been here a handful of times for a quick bite but these last two visits have not been worth the trip. Just now, I ordered a grilled pork sandwich but received a pork belly one. I love the egg rolls but $1.25 each is steep.That said, I've been going back because while it isn't the best banh mi, it hits the spot for me. But the service is what will keep me away. I went in today and who I assume is the owner was very sweet in greeting me but the cashier made no gesture to acknowledge me. She was typing away on some screen so I figured she was trying to put in an online order so I patiently waited. And waited... and after 6 minutes or so of not saying anything to me, she suddenly looks up and says 'Are you going to order?' Lol ok. So I order but the lack of communication and friendly service is a total turn off.

Great banh mi! Very reasonably priced, just $6 for a pretty large sandwhich. The grilled pork was 8/10, very flavorful, just not as saucy as id like. The combo sandwich was 6.5/10.

Besides some customer service issues (see other reviews about extra jalapenos, for example) — the food is good. Never seen customer service issues when youngsters are working, by the way. I think they might be more connected to American customer service culture. Anyway, food quality seems to have gone down compared to when I came here every day in 2020-2021 but I’ll give it another shot. Maybe it was old ingredients at the end of the day but the meat was bland and my sandwiches seemed light on condiments. Mr. Banh Mi, keep a watchful eye on the quality.

Love this place! Having been to Vietnam, these are the real deal. All banh mi sandwiches are $6 and combos are $8 so very affordable. One sandwich is filling for lunch. Got the combination and grilled pork sandwiches. Likedo the grilled pork sandwich more. Crunch of the roll, yummy meat and brightness of the fresh vegetables. Highly recommended!

CHEAP EATS, CONSISTENT FLAVOR, HIGHLY RECOMMEND: I love this place! My go-to order is the number 1 combination sandwich. I add extra cucumbers and pickled vegetables to my order each time. This sandwich is absolutely heavenly with sriracha on each bite. This sandwich also saves well in the fridge. I've order extra sandwiches each time to save for lunch the next day and it still tasted pretty fresh even after the third day (I am not saying you should do this. I just happen to do this because I am lazy).
This is the second time trying to go to this place! First time it was closed second time they were open walked in wanted a to go order since we are from out of town. The lady waiting to locking the very last customers out was very rude and said we are closed. No hi, sorry we are closed Just straight up rude!! Definitely won't be trying them!

The best meatball Vietnamese sandwich I ever had. The ice coffee was wonderful too. The warm friendly atmosphere is why I choose the small business over the chains. The sweet mother making the sandwiches is such a hard worker. I will be coming back regularly. This was a quick walk while I waited on PepBoys to fix my tire.
