It’s a lovely location overlooking the water and staff very helpful and friendly. However food a let down. Boiled chicken dipped in sauce with fries and rice. Other options did seem fresher perhaps. Wine average. Decently priced

We order a like a platter of shrimps and clam and not even 1 shrimp After main course salmon and was raw literally raw so we had to wait 30mmts more for the salmon ofc my food got cold waiting for the food of my partner…. No even a coffe for the disaster of dinner we had and I really want to go there to try it before but i think i would prefer no

I read reviews and i am surprised if i even was in the same place. We had a dinner with my family there. We were worried as place is very busy that it takes ages. But they surprised us by how fast things was done. great food, very tasteful. We love seafood so we had to order seafood platter for 2 for price EUR 59. It was plenty for 3 people, was yum and the only down was that i had a problem to sleep with full belly as i had to finish all . We had 2 more salads and extra chicken for son. All was very good, good atmosphere and we really like it.

This is the worst restaurant in sliema we ordered sea food platter for 2 pax and the worst came the food came cold and the food itself is tasteless and the plate is much bigger than the food itself for a 60 euros seafood platter this is a scum restaurant it's a nightmare don't even try to eat here you will be disappointed just go to peppi resto on the other side instead.

Definitely worst place i have been in malta, i ordered a mix of meat at 9.30 pm and after more than hour, they told me they had a problem and they couldnt cook anymore. The waiters are the most unpolite i ever met and the bill was very expensive for the low quality of the food. Just don’t go there

Service was quick and attentive at first, however it then tapered off and we were left with our left over food sat on front of us waiting for it to be cleared and to pay the bill. The waiter who mainly dealt with us was lovely, but the waiter whom we asked for the bill was rather abrasive. We got seabass, but literally an entire fish came and was far too much for one person. Quite wasteful! Was nice, but I wouldn’t bother again.

We went to this place last night. Definitely disappointing, no attention to the customer and low quality This under the photo of the bread with mold that they served us ... we asked to change it but they only removed the moldy slices and replaced them. Obviously we didn't eat the bread
Extremely hospitable seating us at a table with fantastic view. Sadly it ended there, we ordered food a starter to share and 2 main courses. Drinks arrived promptly, waited for starter no show so asked how long we’d have to wait, they forgot order!! Starter eventually arrived, 20 minutes later still no mains but a side dish of vegetables arrived!!!! Eventually got food which was okay but unfortunately service spoiled the whole meal, I won’t be returning, worst experience I’ve had so far in Malta..

Every time I go to "Salt and Pepper" I can be sure it is going to be a great experience. It is not just the very fresh and well prepared food, but also the friendly atmosphere, the warm welcome, the fact that the staff always remembers you and makes you feel at home. That is the way it should be in all restaurants, but it seldom happens. Well done, "Salt and Pepper!"

The atmosphere was nice but the food is very below the standard expected. The waiter ask me if the food was good. I reply it was not good, has no vegetables as per menu, food cold and potatoes like being cooked days before. I had Swordfish. It was less than 1 cms thick and not fresh. It was like chewing gum. Very poor presented. Just served within 4 minutues from order. What you pretend to get just in few minutes. I will definitely not recommended to anyone. It has no standard.

We had only just arrived at our hotel in Sliema at 7.30 pm. So we took a stroll to St Julian’s Bay and walked along the promenade. Two restaurants caught our eye the Klay and Salt & Pepper. We chose Salt & Pepper for the vibe. It was very very busy unlike the Klay but they found us a table. Our waitress was rushed off her feet but we didn’t have to wait to long to be served. The drinks took a little while to arrive. The food came too soon after. She had Tuna steak and a had swordfish. Both delicious.
