Ate here for the first time today. The customer service was phenomenal. Darrius was so helpful walking me through the menu and even brought all my food to my car. The banana pudding was so flavorful and the meat was tender.

So we never actually got to eat here. However, I was expecting a sit down restaurant, more of a fine dining experience like it used to be. Now it's more of a fast food barbecue place and that's fine. I hear the food's excellent. But the greeter was taking phone orders and because of that a line of us stood there waiting to get seated or get instructed on a Saturday night. It took so long, we just left.

Looked for some good BBQ, found the Tender Smokehouse in Frisco,Tx. They have a few other locations, so choose which one is a good fit for you and try them out. Let's get to the food, and the service. ( Side note) Just in case you haven't figured it out " I am a foodie", so here we go my honest opinion. I ordered the stuffed sweet potato with prime rib and all the trimmings and a side of their pineapple coleslaw. I have to be upfront, was I blown away ( not really). What I ordered was tasty, would I patronize again (yes), would I try the same dish ( absolutely). I wasn't disappointed, but I have a certain standard for food in general, especially bbq. The service was excellent. I would go back just for the service. They do get a thumbs up for sure.

We were staying at the Embassy Suites & wanted to try a new place to eat that we had never eaten at before, & Tender Smokehouse was so good. Friendly staff & the food was awesome!!! They have a few locations & have now started serving breakfast which we plan to try soon.My hubby got the stuffed potato with brisket & I had the frito pie after seeing a picture of it. I added my pictures?We will be going back to try other items on the menu?

First thing we noticed walking in was the great service. This was our first time here. Not only did they go out of their way to make us comfortable, the food was exceptional. Even though we got takeout, the atmosphere was great. I believe our server was Chelsea and she was great!
We planned to have Hutchins BBQ for lunch but the line was long so we looked for other BBQ to joints in the area and to my surprise there is a Tender Smokehouse close by. I’ve been wanting to try tender for years . I’m not sure how new the Frisco location is but there was no line and we got right in to order. The Customer service was top notch. We didn’t want or wait for anything. There was always someone asking if we needed anything. We had the fatty brisket, pulled pork, pork ribs, and jalapeño sausage. All were amazing! For sides we had potato salad, mac and cheese, bbq beans, and banana pudding. All were really good! I never eat the plain white bread at bbq spots but Tender has buttered toast that I kept eating.I’m definitely glad Hutchins was busy and I found Tender Smokehouse.

Five starts across the board! There was a bit of a line to order when we got there but we took it as a good sign that it must be good, and we were not disappointed!! We got 1lb of brisket to split between the two of us, and man was it a lot! We had enough leftover for another meal! The brisket was juicy and tender. It just fell apart in your mouth! Good bark, perfect smoke ring and just the right of smoke and flavor balance! The macaroni and cheese was delicious, and the Smokey beans were out of this world! We loved the atmosphere and the wait staff was friendly. We would definitely come back again!
