The restaurant looks nice outside. Earth sitting area is very dirty. There's so many stains on all the cushions and the table that they sent us was sticky and dirty. waitress is very nice however, our food was not the greatest. I got the bone in famous fried chicken, which taste like something I would buy at a supermarket but the mac & cheese was decent and my husband had the hot chicken sandwich which was just OK and was very sloppy on the. Maybe their breakfast menu is better not sure but probably won't be returning because if you can't make good fried chicken, what's the point?

Overall a very average experience. There is limited parking out front similar to other restaurants in The Star District. When we arrived there was no one at the front door so when you first walk in you are in the front center of the restaurant, so you can see everything. Luckily we didn't have to wait long to be seated otherwise the area can get crowded very quickly. The restaurant is nicely appointed and there are plenty of windows making the natural aesthetics and bright lights appeasing. I can't remember the waitress name, but she was nice and attentive enough, although barely cracked a smile throughout our entire interaction. We ordered a few appetizers, beer and sausage gumbo and the rice was raw and inedible. There was no apology or visit from the manager but the gumbo was taken off the bill. Fried pickles were decently cooked but nothing to really brag about. We ordered three different versions of the chicken (sandwich, smothered, and fried) and while very tasty, the portions were small compared to the price. The chocolate cake was dense with minimal cake but large amounts of icing. Better than a box but on par with a grocery store cake ordered in advance. The banana pudding was delicious but be fair warned a small is legit small. It was almost laughable (think sample or kid's order size). Bill came up to about $95 before tip with no alcoholic drinks ordered. Would only go again if someone else suggests it and makes a reservation as the only thing worth returning for would be the chicken.

Enjoyed the Happy Hour Special Menu! Ordered the shrimp poor-boy with the Rosemary parmesan fries. Both were Amazing! I would definitely recommend Tupelo Honey Farm-to-Table Restaurant in Frisco, TX. Excellent food and service!

Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar is a southern style restaurant located in Frisco, Texas. I've had brunch at this establishment three times, so I figured it was time to write a review. For starters, we had the "biscuits for a cause" served with blueberry jam and fried green tomatoes served over heirloom grits and goat cheese. Both were superb. For my meal, I had the "sriracha honey friend chicken and waffles." The sriracha sauce is amazing. No sides come with this meal, so if you have a hearty appetite, make sure you order your bacon and eggs on the side.My friend enjoyed the smothered chicken and biscuits. I wasn't in the mood for mimosa's, so I ordered a bottle of wine with my meal and my friends ordered the mimosa flights, which I'm happy I decided to opt out, because they're made with a flavored syrup of some sort, which was way too sweet for my liking.Overall, our time here was pleasant. Our server was attentive, they seated us on time for the reservation and the food was good.

We stumbled upon Tupelo Honey while visiting Dallas. This place did not disappoint. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I like that the restaurant was able to cater to everyone ( visitors, professionals and the regulars). I had the Sriracha honey chicks and waffles! The chicken was Scrumptious! I tried the homemade peach and pineapple soda, it was basic.

The food was actually pretty decent however, the service was subpar at best. I ordered an orange juice for my brother and I, and the glasses were no where near full for whatever reason, and tasted strange. The server did not come to check up once, only stopped by for the bill and our order, forcing us to put in a drink order with a hostess. Proportion sizes are a little small for what you are paying but the quality isn't bad.

My family and I went when it opened on a Sunday. Please make sure you have a reservation, because this place fills up quickly. The staff is always friendly and willing to help answer any questions regarding the menu. It's a great location, but parking on the street can be tough. Best to try and finding a parking space in the garage or pay to park across the street or valet.

Not the best experience here. We all ordered the Mahi, it was cold for all of us, meat was. It flaky and fresh. Seemed cooked then frozen. It gave two of us major allergic reactions. Had to take my employee to the urgent care. Would habe probably ly drank 3x the beers had the waitress come by more often.

Great concept, but having lived in Mississippi for a large portion of my life I found the fried chicken, their signature dish, disappointing. I ordered on two different occasions just to be sure it wasn't an off night....... both times were just underwhelming.

Ordered the $30 filet and it was covered in a horse radish sauce. If the menu had said ANYTHING about horse radish, I would have chosen something else. The meat was plated on top the potatoes so I couldn't even enjoy the potatoes. The server didn't even ask if we were enjoying our meal. I would have said absolutely NOT.
