Do not order a custom cake from here. The communication among staff and cake decorators is a joke. They did nothing to my cake that they were supposed to. No extra details from the photos I sent and the verbal instructions for ruffles and texture on the side. Also no apology when I was disappointed that it wasn’t done as instructed. I also had to bring my own pear sprinkles for the cake after one staff member had shown me pearls they had in stock, the decorator said they didn’t have any. Like I said - very poor communication and no apology/no discount for a basic job done with no extra details. Nothing special. I could have gone to grocery store and bought a basic white cake to stick my sprinkles on and my flowers. They also didn’t tell me the cakes come frozen and can’t be eaten for six hours after. These are details that are important. Simply asking someone when you plan to serve it with no further explanation is unacceptable. Tell people the full scope in case their plans change.

The keto pizza might be my favorite pizza in Frisco. The staff has been very nice and gone above and beyond dealing with Doordash mistakes, great place!

This place has some good things but their cakes are absolutely NOT it ?. They’re expensive for what you get; yes they’re decorated beautifully but they’re so dry and chalky. I ordered a vanilla one for my birthday and there was no vanilla flavor at all, just a weird corn taste and chalky texture. My family refused to eat it after one bite so now we have almost a whole cake just sitting there.

Overpriced and can never seem to get a delivery right (through Uber). How can you constantly screw up the type of crust being ordered??

I stopped in to try a cupcake or cookie. The sprinkle sandwich cookie was my choice. I asked the lady who waited on me to ensure the cookie was gluten free. She said it was. I ate this delicious confection and a couple hours later got nauseous, very nauseous. I was clearly glutened and will not be back.

Unrefined is a safe heaven for me having Celiac disease. I normally love going in weekly to get a smoothie and cupcakes. This past weekend it was my 28th birthday and my first birthday having Celiac disease and needing a gluten free cake. The cake Unrefined made for me was beyond my wildest dreams. It was amazing. So thankful for them!

I don’t know what to say: lost for words . In my entire life I have never seen anything like it. Next to pizza for comparison on the photos is a tea spoon. The entire order was $51. Pizza was slightly burnt , check the photo of pizza, but it could have been delicious. It was delicious where it wasn’t burnt. They charge for every added item in the pizza… Cake - see the video, the slice was $9.50 and I am scared to try the muffin …. I still have I probably should throw it away … My sister goes to Richardson location and raves about it. Me, I am easy to write positive reviews as I look for positive when I go places … The box said thank you , it was very kind to see a note , so I give two wonderful stars for the note and really no stars for the food. If things didn’t turn out just don’t send them. The cake had salty spots sweet spots and occasionally baking soda tasting spots . However the outside cream was delicious. I am sorry but I won’t be back …

The cupcake was good but the coffee was disappointing. Ordered an Americano and an ice latte, I think they forgot to put the coffee in my latte? It was entirely milk and syrup. They also didn’t have prices any where which was odd.

Who says you can't have your cake & eat it hasn't been here! They created a bakery menu for multiple paletes. The cake I had was Keto friendly.

Great little bakery with amazingly, yummy goodies. My daughter has food allergies and she loves that there is a place were she can buy herself a treat every once in a while. They have some baked goods that are nut, dairy & seed oil free.Dietary restrictions: Nut free, dairy free, soy free

Found this little gem and had to stop by! Very nice atmosphere, and cupcakes are delicious. I will definitely be coming back here. I also got a loaf of bread here - there's tons of things in stock including cakes, bread, etc., all frozen. Very cool place!

We tried three vegan cupcakes: chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. The chocolate cupcake tasted good but was very dense. The vanilla and strawberry cake were so dense and tasted like play doh. Pretty gross. The strawberry frosting was good so we ate that, but at $10 a cupcake was not worth it since they were gross. Wouldn’t recommend.

Went to a gluten-free bakery chain, Unrefined Bakery, in Frisco on Saturday. There were NO disclosed prices anywhere except on whole, refrigerated cakes. What's with businesses not disclosing prices? I'm not going to stand there and point to each item and ask the price. I want to know so that I know if I was over or undercharged. I've been to gluten-free bakeries where a single cinnamon roll is $8 before tax. If they're $5 each, I'll buy 2. If they're $8 each I'll buy 1 and I'll split it with my husband. Businesses lose money not disclosing the price upfront. My husband ended up getting a coffee, a pumpkin cookie which had the texture of pumpkin bread and a carrot cake muffin and we shared. I'm not risking a $50+ afternoon tea bill so I didn't order anything. While they tasted perfectly fine, I want to know the prices before I order. It had me on edge.February 2024Dietary restrictions: 100% gluten-free bakery.
