My rating is only related to customer service because we never got the food. Be careful using your phone to place orders. Before you hit the 'submit' button you need to scroll down to the bottom where you will find that a 20% tip is auto selected. My wife placed the order, she told me she was forced to leave a 20% tip. I went to the restaurant early because I wanted to get that corrected. Unfortunately, I was immediately greeted with with a man who started the interaction with, "Your food is not ready yet" after I gave him the name the order was under. I explained that I understand the food isn't ready, and that my wife was upset because she was forced to leave a 20% tip, to which I was quickly met with a sharp reaction that my wife is wrong and she was not forced to leave the tip. Annoyed because of the way I was being talked to as a customer as I felt like I was being accused of lying to him. I just wanted to get it corrected so I explained that I would like him to remove the tip. After the man told me he couldn't fix it, I was upset and told him to cancel my order and I left. I went home and my wife and I jumped back on the app to see what happened, and that's when we discovered that you must scroll down and opt out of the tip before hitting submit. Really annoying and I didn't even get to try the food. In the end, I was about to spend $130 to feed 4 people, instead I went to my church and got enough food to feed everyone for $50. I guess everything happens for a reason. We wanted to try the place because we heard the restaurant has good food, but I guess we will never know. Response: I'm very sorry to hear about your mother and having to close your restaurant. Praying for you, your mother, and your family.

Ordered the Turkey & sausage platter & the beef brisket platter & all the meat in both entrees were flavorful, moist, juicy & delicious! My favorite side dish was the potato salad. It was creamy & chunky & perfectly balanced! We will definitely be getting out BBQ fix from this place from now on. It's the best BBQ in the area no doubt!

I have visited this establishment numerous times over the course of the last year. I usually order the Pit Master Combo and I am never disappointed. My meat is always tinder and flavorful. I will definitely continue to come back.

The food was completely cold and we didn't even get close to what we ordered in weight. There was so much condensation that there was water in everything. The bread they gave us was sliced sandwich bread in baggies and the food has absolutely no flavor. Now I spent $60 on $10 of food that no one will eat.

Texas 202 is our favorite barbecue in the area. Their brisket is always so tender and juicy. It falls apart when you’re eating it. In a good way. Also really love their potato salad and their sausage links. We had people over and ordered from here, and everyone was asking where it came from because it was so good.

The first time I ordered a baked potato was when they first opened and it was small. Today I gave them a second chance because it’s the only BBQ place I trust in THIS area. I was PLEASANTLY surprised when I opened the container and saw this huge baked potato with a heap of meat. Perfection!

I visited here let me say the chicken wings deserve a 5 I gave a 3 because I love bbq my dad is the best in my opinion I had beef ribs although tasty there was no smoke flavor at all taste baked! Same with pork ribs seasoning is good but no smoke flavor!!
I went for pick up for the first time. I had pit master sandwich. The brisket and sausage was delicious. I had onion rings and hush puppies all excellent.

Well everybody knows (or should know) how great their barbecue is. But have you tried their fish, shrimp and chicken wings? Equally as scrumptious. I am a believer that if you have a good steak, you don't need steak sauce. Same goes for fish and shrimp. If really good, no cocktail or tartar sauce necessary. Well that's definitely the case here....at least for me. Everything is seasoned and cooked to perfection. Great food, great customer service, cute clean interior and really nice people run this place.
