Not sure how these are ‘the best you ever tasted’. The patties were much less than a 1/4 and the 1/2 was not any bigger. Ordered with everything except Mayo and got a completely dry burger and no cheese which was ordered. The fries and Dr. Pepper were good. Not sure where the house made mustard was but we didn’t get it.

Love this place. I'm not a beer drinker, but they have cider and sours which is perfect for me. Good burgers, too. I make it a point to stop in whenever I'm on the Strand.

The burgers were great! My sister and I shared The Mission From God burger and Chips and it was plenty of food for 2 and so tasty. Beer selection on tap was okay, but not anything out of the ordinary.

The burgers are to die for! The beer selection is great, and they serve other drinks as well (hello, mead!). Great atmosphere: it's a small pub, and the coziness is an awesome change. Loved the selection of games to play as well.

Tourist here. First time visit. Dive bar atmosphere. Great selection of beer. IMHO, this is the kind of place you go for the intention of drinking, and really only order food if you get hungry. Draft is king.

Justin is an amazing bartender, my husband and I agreed if we had known about this place earlier we would have spent more time here. Large selection of beers and Justin was super knowledgeable about all of them. We didn't eat here but the specials were selling out and the locals business owners/staff were ordering take out. Check this place out!

It’s such a nice place to go to either on the weekend or week days, just depending if you’re wanting to be around a lot of people or just have a leisurely lunch. They have a wide variety of beer and if you’re unsure of what you would like to have, they help you find the right one and sometimes even surprise you with what you end up liking.Their food is amazing!Everything about this place is very unique in its own way, very home feel to it

Brews Brothers is an eclectic little dive bar that caters mostly to a college crowd, though locals from all over can find a place here. Though Brews can look a little rough from the outside, the place manages to be quite cozy once you've settled in. Unfortunately, there are no cocktail options, but if you care for beer at all, you won't be disappointed, with a huge rotating beer selection that also sprinkles in mead and ciders.More importantly, however, I have yet to find a better burger anywhere on Galveston Island. My go-to is a Heat Seeker burger with goat cheese instead of the usual chihuahua cheese, which tames the spice just a little, and produces an explosion of sweet, tart, savory, and spicy flavors all at once. But no matter which option you go for, the meat is freshly cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and at least twice the size of anything you'd get from a fast-food restaurant. Like the Heat Seeker, or the rotating Burger of the Month, many of the menu options might leave you puzzled at first, but must be tried to be believed.

We came for good beers and interesting food. Our bartender told us he was the only one on duty, so we had to come to the bar to place orders. Four people, ~$130 for beers and food should have warranted a not frigid space, better service, not torched apps, and better experience overall. We’re traveling and were quite excited about the menu AND especially the beer list. Maybe Thursday is an off night? Short handed? The bartender was a really nice guy, but we probably won’t return. And that is sad. We need places like Brews Brothers for those of us who really like decent beer spots with fab food.
