I was hesitant to try here because of some of the reviews. After eating here I feel like they are wrong. The food was delicious and the prices were very fair.
Tried this place for the first time and was delighted! Food was great and the owner is a true definition of The American Dream! She was super sweet and we had a very pleasurable conversation on how she went from an average dish washer to owning her own restaurant! ??

Cheery atmosphere, friendly and accommodating service and authentic and delicious food. Lots of tables were ordering soups (despite it being 95 degrees outside). They must be good. We had a family group with kids. Everything we ordered was excellent. And we had a lot of food. The kids loved the cheese pupusas. The pollo guisada was especially good. Prices are great. We can't wait to return!
