This restaurant is the best Mexican restaurant in Houston and the surrounding areas. When you visit please try the birria tacos and the casa agave fries. I rarely leave reviews but this restaurant took me down memory lane. It brought childhood memories of me being back home.Everything was superb including the waiter, staff and the welcome atmosphere. If you want to feel like home come here.You will not leave disappointed.

We were lucky to run into a local Galveston couple who recommended the Vida Agave as having the best Margaritas in town. They were not wrong!! The menu is filled with wonderful drink options and amazing food that is artfully presented. Our meals were awesome, with my Mahi Mahi Tacos delivering layers of flavour. Our waiter, Alphonso(?) was exceptional, with a deep knowledge of the menu while also doing double duty as a bartender. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for an amazing Mexican food experience.
A cool restaurant, bar, great food, very good drinks, I asked them if they were preparing a Guadalajara-type song for me and to my surprise they threw it at them very well!!!! Thank you very much ?

The other reviews of Vida Agave are spot on. This place is amazing and it starts with the food. We had the Birria tacos and the chimichuri tacos and both were a flavor explosion. Can't wait to come back and bring our guests to the island and to work our way through the rest of The menu. Oh yeah the service was outstanding as

We went on a late lunch, so not crowded.Food was fantastic. Had the street corn, chimichurri asada, chips and salsa, and the chipotle enchiladasWe also enjoyed a couple of cocktails.All of it was great.The salsas were not spicy, but had a really good flavor. The tacos had crisp fried onion strings and roasted bell peppers. I topped them with some of the green salsa as I really liked it. The wife loved the enchiladas.The beans and rice sides were also good. Not just an afterthought to a entree.Had the Mexican Martini, Mexican Lollipop, and the Watermelon Tajin cocktails. All were good.Will definitely come back.
