I am a regular at this awesome restaurant.The atmosphere is casual. The filet mignon and salmon are five star. The chef came out after dinner and introduced himself. It is BYOB! Very inexpensive for the quality of food.
High-quality food you can tell that the chef cooks with high-quality ingredients and with passion.This is definitely a gem of a restaurant .Highly recommend .I tried the chicken sandwich and it was honestly one of the best meals I have eaten . I have been to various restaurants through the country including fine dining and Alondra hits the mark !

My husband and I were traveling through this area and I specifically picked Alondra's Cuisine for the many vegetarian/vegan choices that were on the menu. It was the middle of the day, a little after lunchtime, and we were the only people in the restaurant. The chef, whom I am assuming is the owner took our order and spent time with us talking about the menu. He seemed very proud of the food and he has every right to be. It was delicious. We split the avocado club with fries and took a chocolate cake to go. The chocolate cake is to die for!!! We will definitely be back in a couple of weeks when we make our twice monthly trip to WinCo across the street.

Great food, great prices and great for conversation! If you love local, you must try Alondra's. The menu is small but varied. The portions are very generous. I had the Caprese Salad - fresh basil, mozzarella and tomato with pesto and balsamic vinegar - and it was better here than at some steak houses that I've been to. The desserts are also fantastic. The Fruit Tart was delicate and all desserts are made in-house. This would be a good stop for dessert and coffee if you don't want a full meal. My bill with the salad and dessert was under $20. Parking is available immediately outside the front door, but be aware that the few steps from the parking lot to the front door can be steep. The restaurant is very clean and the noise level is low - very good for conversation over dinner. They also take reservations.Parking: Many spots immediately outside the restaurant doors

Had reservations for 7:30 Valentin Day evening. Had several other tables to be seated and thier order taken but the waitress never returned to take our order after 15-20 minutes. I was looking forward to this but ended up leaving and going to Burger Island and was treated very well.Saddened by the earlier experience.

First time here, but I have a niece named Alondra so I gave it a chance. We were a bit thrown by the Italian and Mexican food, but the waiter made us feel right at home. She recommended the lemon basil chicken, which sounded really good. We all tried something different. I had the ribeye steak with the twice baked potato and veggies. The twice baked potato was not only delicious it was like dipping a crispy French fry into mashed potatoes. And a Mexican coke. They have a large vegetarian section.

Alondra's will one day be a big name vegan spot in Dallas proper(its only in Garland right now). It is fantastic. The food is incredibly flavorful. Im not vegan at all(just had Fogo de Chao), but I tried a vegan dish per the recommendation of my friends(the calabacitas rellenas) and it was so delicious. I forgot that I was only eating veggies. I hope that they can get their name out there more because they are deserving of all of the praise they get!

I can't say enough about this hidden gem. The food is outstanding!! I had the Beef Roulade and my husband had the Pan Seared Salmon. Both dishes were perfection! Dessert was the Fruit Tart and it was marvelous! The chef (and owner) as well as his staffare very friendly.
