My family and I stopped in for dinner for my husband’s birthday and we had an incredible time. Our waitress Laura was absolutely amazing! She was very attentive and provided exceptional service! We all really enjoyed our time there and can’t wait to go back again!!!
If you love souther cooking this your place! Vary spaces the staff are mostly high-schoolers but vary friendly the sides where alright. A vary leftover Thanksgiving type of food it that's what you like.

Food is good but the chicken flavor has changed. Tastes very similar to Church's. It used to have a homey taste, like it had been marinated in buttermilk. And the pricing has gotten insane. Unfortunately It's wayyy overpriced now.

Loved the family style dining experience. The service was exceptional our particular guy was very attentive and checked on us often. Food was good you can really only take home the meats which you place in bags.

The food is good, but the vegetables always have too much oil in them. Also, the CFS meal is super expensive!
Been going to the Babe's in Garland off and on for years, we went there 5/5/2024 and the vegetables didn't taste the same and not as good as they used to be. The salad was wilted and slimy, not crisp and chilled as before. The green beans were burnt and tasted burnt and bitter, the mashes potatoes were box tasting and the creamed corn was just blah and the gravy the same. The fried chicken and biscuits were great, so we asked our server - whom did a great job - as to why the veggies tasted so different and she said they changed the recipe on the mashed potatoes, cream corn and how they prepared the green beans. They added sugar and other like spices but removed the creamy ingredients for some reason and the green beans were supposed to be seared and flavored differently but they just weren't good. We loved this place the times that we do go but if they keep preparing the vegetables this way we probably will reconsider. Hope they go back to the way they originally cooked everything!
