Went for dinner last night. Wait time to be seated was less than promised. Water brought immediately and our Sarah followed right behind. She was great! Very nice and knowledgeable about our menu choices. Best ceaser salads we've ever had! Only reason for the 4 rating is becuase the menus were stained with grease and pizza sauce. I'm not sure why the menus are not laminated to make clean up much easier. Regardless, we'll be back!

Just what Downtown Garland needed. Incredible food and super friendly service in a comfortable, inviting space! What a great addition to the ever improving Old Downtown Garland!Parking: Plenty of parking within a 3 minute walk, even on weekend nights.Kid-friendliness: Our 4 year-old daughter loved, not only the food, but the environment and the super friendly vibe.

The staff was very happy to greet and serve. The food was high quality. Yummy cocktails. It was too cold to sit on the patio under the big twinkling tree so we’ll have to come back soon. Inside, for an easily over-stimulated person like me, sitting near/under a music speaker made conversation difficult. The track lights above us were constantly going dim and bright. And the sound of the chairs sliding across the floor was very loud and jarring… All tiny details…still 5 stars…but I was way over-stimulated (IMO unnecessarily.) Also, I prefer to see an itemized bill before being told my total and being asked to pay (payment happens table-side.)

Stupid Dave Portnoy set my expectation too high. Pizza had major flop, too charred, and the dough was not cooked in some parts. Chicken parm mid. Meatballs 10/10 though. 30min wait for table and another 30min wait for appetizer is disgusting. If you want good pizza, look elsewhere. The atmosphere and staff were awesome but that does not redeem the horrible pizza. I might be back to give it another chance if I have 2hrs to burn and an itch for unevenly cooked pizza.

From start to finish the experience exceeded expectations. The host was friendly and efficient, and we enjoyed some drinks while we waited for a table. Our server was knowledgeable and quick, and the food was unbelievable. We ordered far too much food for 2 people, and had to make ourselves stop. You can tell the chef is choosy with ingredients, and the owners really thought through every detail. We will definitely be back

We went last night for dinner and my goodness, we will be returning customers! We ordered the burrata caprese, the chef’s salad, the original pizza and the meatzilla! All were absolutely phenomenal. My husband wasn’t a huge fan of the burrata but I think I’ll order some bread next time to go with it and he’d be completely on board (it was his first time having burrata lol). The salad was one of the best I’ve ever had, my husband said, “if you can recreate this salad, I’ll eat a salad every night!” Which is quite the compliment from a man that begrudgingly eats his greens! We also ordered old fashioned’s with Weller 12 that were great (can’t wait to try their Wooster Ol Fashioned next time). Both pizzas were incredible! The decor and atmosphere was awesome, we found one of the local artists they showcase and will definitely be purchasing for our moody maximalist home.There was one incident that happened while we were there that I want to highlight because I think constructive feedback is important. There was a lady with a belligerent personality (naturally, not from being over-served) at the bar with her spouse and another couple. There was a civil (on Fortunate Son’s end) dispute about whether a card had been put down for a tab. Essentially, the customer never actually handed the bartender the card and instead flung it across the bar while no one was looking and it fell to the floor. Another employee found the card on the floor and walked over to hand it to the bartender while the lady was becoming more obnoxious and rude by the second. The bartender swallowed her pride, apologized the customer and took ownership of the error even though it wasn’t her fault. The customer apologized as well for her behavior and had it been left there, it would be a wonderful ending. The customer then grabbed the bartender’s hand and demanded she apologize in front of her spouse and friends for being wrong. The bartender kept her composure then walked away. As someone who’s been in leadership for 10 years, I understand the client experience and as a new business wanting to protect your reputation. Don’t be afraid to stand up for your employees and kick out disrespectful people! It’s okay that not everything can be smoothed over, those aren’t the patrons worth saving!

What a great addition to downtown. Of course being Friday night of opening week, they were slammed. We didn't mind and took the opportunity to walk around the area stopping in at several other businesses. We got the text that our table was ready and sat under the lighted tree outside. Such a nice vibe. Although being busy, Tara was attentive and so nice. We tried the meatball appetizer and the veggie pizza. The crust on this pizza is so good. Happy they have Rollertown's Big German on draft. Can't wait to go back.
