All I can say is you need to get over to "In The Cut Cafe".E. Walnut St, Garland TX, inside the Exxon station at the corner of Walnut and Country Club. 2 season to the Bone pork chops covered with seasoned fries, with a added bowl of fried cabbage with a kick (....and is?) that could feed 2 adults and 1. child. Dale the Kitchen Magician is truly working magic ✨. Going back soon for the fried gizzards everyone is giving 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

I went to this place for the first time today because I saw they had salmon croquettes. I love salmon croquettes! I called it and picked it up. When I went to get it, Chef Shaun said he was picky about his food and he thought he should be give me a discount it just wasn’t up to par. If my lunch was subpar, I can’t wait to taste the good version. It was delicious. The salmon croquettes were perfect, like my mom’s. The collards were tender and well seasoned. Excellent! He was making a big batch of stuffed peppers that looked yummy. I’ll be back to try the catfish.

I swore off gizzards years ago and the owner guaranteed I needed to give his a try. They were AMAZING! So tender and seasoned to perfection. My husband got Wednesday’s daily special of smothered pork chops, rice and fried cabbage. It definitely did not disappoint. Although the cafe is in a store front, please don’t underestimate In The Cut Cafe! If you are looking for great tasting food and friendly service in Garland, this is your spot!

I got a Philly cheese steak. It was more like an onion sandwich filled with mostly onions. I felt scammed. I didn't eat it obviously. No season unless the steak was the seasoning. It's much better small and good than big and nasty.

Hidden Gem!! Even though this unique spot is located inside a gas station with each owner being a welcoming delight. The food was made on the spot. I enjoyed the seasoning that the food had to offer. I also appreciated the time that the chef took to prepare it. Thanks again and if you're in Dallas check them out.

The gizzards are the most tender and flavorful. I ordered pork chops, fried fish and wings for dinner. I must admit, the gizzards are the best I have ever eaten. I could not eat them all at one sitting; I had to eat the rest the next day. I had the pork chops and fried fish the same night, and all I can say is, "This is real soul food cooking" and the food made my mouth and tummy happy.
