Chicken bowl shell was stale and the whole dish was extremely salty. Ordered in drive thru a bean taco and got beef. Chicken tortilla soup was awful and salty. Not very good experience.

I remember that this used to be a good place to order dine-in or carry out years ago but i guess things can’t always remain as they once were.The food is mediocre and the price point is subpar. The service, however is lacking in every sense of the way and appears to have been for quite some time.They used to serve actual pico de gallo with actual legit ingredients… then they switched to “you have to ask for (spicy) pico if you want to be served the actual thing… then it was switched to adding pickled jalapeños on top of a tomato/onion salad to just a tomato and onion salad. This is not even close to how it’s supposed to be?I ordered here one evening on a whim to just see if the service and food had improved… I was wrong.The order was taken by a staff member by typing on their phone and then keyed into a register in the drive thru. Keep in mind that I and the person i was with were the only patrons inside~ the order somehow missed the mark as far as what was ordered and what was received. Pulled pork tacos came out as carne asada, tortillas came out as sopapillas, nachos were missing~ and the entire order was attempted to be corrected at least 3 times (which still ended up being incorrect) but at that point~ we had given up (shouldn’t have, because we were overcharged for what we got, but we did). This took aprx 40min to complete what we ended up leaving with.Won’t be doing that again.

Came in on 11/24 around noon, I walked up to the counter and waited for the girl to finish looking/texting at her phone to place my order. We ordered 4 bean and cheese tacos and 2 beef fajita tacos and a large soda, First off the tacos were smaller than the palm of my hand, this was never the case back in San Antonio. We first tried the bean and cheese tacos and they were horrendous, they had no flavor and were lacking salt. I had to use a whole packet of salt, which was never the case. Next we tried the fajita tacos and the were also super tiny tacos, which also lacked flavor. Now I see why there are multiple locations that are closed down in the Dallas area because Taco Cabana has gone downhill!

Went to this location on a Sunday morning around 7am. Posted hours state they open at 6am well doors were locked and saw 2 employees knocked out asleep on tables.
