For my birthday, my family treated me to a Rockwall harbor cruise so afterwards I wanted to eat a delicious dinner so we chose TLC on the Lake. It absolutely did NOT disappoint! We all were very pleased with our entrees and sides. My only complaint was they didn’t have the dessert I wanted but that just means I’ll have to go back ?

I love going to TLC! Brandon is my favorite server and is knowledgeable about drinks and food, and willing to offer recommendations (all of which I’ve loved so far)! His service is extraordinary and it’s awesome how personable he is, as well as how fast he moves, and how much he cares about each customer! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is fun and lively! Looking forward to my next meal at TLC! I’ve heard they’re doing renovations that will allow customers to see the lake, and I can’t wait, it’ll be even more of a gem!

We came in for brunch! I got the smokehouse omelet! Yum! Add a little salt & pepper. Amazing! My husband got the breakfast plate! Can’t go wrong on the brunch menu! Great location with view of the Lake! Light country music atmosphere with a great wait staff! You need to come by for brunch! Saturday & Sunday 10 am to 2 pm! You won’t be disappointed! Plus brunch bar menu as well! Come and take a load off! Enjoy the views and the morning temps!

Was very impressed, we were traveling from Tucson. Were greeted with a warm welcome from Brandon. He asked our names and told us about the restaurant. Ordered the special Maui Maui, it was fabulous, never tasted maui that good. Ordered the grilled asparagus and creamed corn with jalapenos. The corn and jalapeno side a little more heat could of been added, but it was great. Thanks Brandon E. the Jerry's

Unfriendly unprofessional not going back.**** answering the manager’s reply***First of all I’m a google guide :) and I give my honest reviews on some of the places I visit. Especially if the experience is really bad. I also own a business and to me my customers and customer service are my priority. If you want to know what happened this morning please talk to your hostess. A family of 5 came in (husband, wife two young teens and a little kid) and we were denied a table outside because you can only sit 4 people, we asked if we could sit 3 people in one table and 2 in another since moving one chair to fit in the same table was not allowed. We were told we couldn’t! The only option if we wanted to stay there was the wood bench no shade under 100 degree weather. That’s the most ridiculous thing we ever heard! So we left in a nicely manner. The two young ladies that spoke to us were not very friendly and looked annoyed and unable to communicate. They just said no, you can’t that’s out policy. I Don’t know how your food tastes because we weren’t given the opportunity to try it. I also wish good luck to you and recommend some training to your workers :) or maybe work on your policy of not allowing more than 4 people outside to enjoy a meal together, perhaps that’s why the place was almost empty? Long story short we went to Primos next door, excellent service and food there giving them my review now, Thanks for reminding me.

This was our first time visiting TLC on the Lake and the food was VERY good and the service was great. I was a little disappointed that the dining room doesn't have windows facing the lake. You can eat outside (which is shaded in the evenings) but I was ready to be able to sit by a window and watch the lake while dining. That was my only negative. Everything else was fabulous!

The place was great across the board. Great lake view. Great food. Great service. Our waitress, Genevieve, was fantastic. It was the first time I've been here; but I definitely want to come back.

Stopped in for lunch and it was a very nice place with friendly staff. Food was good and the prices were not to bad. The only problem we had was there was an undisclosed credit card usage fee charged on our receipt and we were paying with cash. Our server did not ask how we were paying and did not mention or offer to refund the fee when we paid in cash.

Had waiter Robert and it was the worst service. First came in asked if I could be seated outside they said no(after sitting down saw people being sat outside). The wait was unexpectedly so long for the restaurant being empty. To get our drinks to order to get out food was all each 20min+. I honestly felt the waiter was racist he never looked at me after my parents asked me a question on the menu in Spanish. When we got our food it was cold, ordered the biscuits and gravy and the gravy was hard and dry. I will not be recommending this place.

I've known about this restaurant for a while, but decided today we wanted to give it a try. If it wasn't so windy, I might have chosen to sit outside, but I will say that the hostess didn't offer that as an option, but there were people seated outside. They have booths and tables inside. I also wondered if she'd forgotten to let someone know that she had seated us, because there was nobody else in the dining room at the time, but it did take a while for anyone to come over and greet us. From that point on our experience was very good. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, he offered suggestions and let us know what off menu special they had for the day. On weekends they also have a Brunch menu, which had some tempting options. We ordered two entrees: Grilled Chimichurri Chicken with Sauteed Spinach and Mashed Potatoes and the Chicken Fried Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Onion Rings. The food was all great! The chicken was tender and juicy, but the chimichurri, which was quite good, was more like a verde sauce in my opinion. It went well with the chicken, so no complaints on that part. The Chicken Fried Steak was tender and tasty and covered with cream gravy. All of the sides were delicious. I was particularly impressed with the Spinach, it had a wonderful flavor and was cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes and onion rings were also wonderful. The entrees also came with a roll, which is topped with honey. I never turn down bread, so right up my street. The prices are little above average, but the portions were large, so more than enough for two meals if you're not a big eater. The one reason that they didn't get five stars here, from me, was the added 3.5% CC (credit card) charge on my ticket, which does appear to have been noted on their menu, however, I didn't notice that, and it's not mentioned by the server, so it was an unexpected charge when I got the ticket. I wasn't asked if I was paying by cash or card, so the CC charge may be automatically added as possibly most people do pay by credit card. I had a coupon, so I didn't bawk at the credit card surcharge, however, I can understand why someone might. This was a first for me, as in all the years and many, many restaurants I've eaten at, I've never been charged for paying with a credit card. Overall, the service was great, the food was great and I know what I know about added costs, so I have all the information that I need to make my decision...I would definitely go back, I'd recommend them, I'd forewarn about the 3.5% CC surcharge and personally, I might choose to pay cash.

Food is absolutely amazing. This was my second time ordering here and it was very delicious both times. Highly recommend the country fried chicken or the chicken marsala. The only problem I had was they forgot the topping for my potatoes but fixed the issue swiftly and were extremely polite about it. Was a pick up order.

Our food was delicious and the patio was very gorgeous. Yet, the guest service is quite contrary. I read reviews explaining that the team is quite discriminatory. To begin, my family & I came in and were not greeted. Though, I understand short staffed, yet multiple employees walked past us and ignored our presence. To second, our host was angered that we wanted to switch to the patio and threw our menus on the table and did not give us silverware. We sat for 10 mins and were ignored and received multiple glares. We then were finally served. When we received our food I had asked for onions on the side and the server brought it to me and said she didn’t know if I still wanted on the side, ignoring my request. Secondly, the wait was good and our server was overall sweet. Yet, other servers were glaring. Others (white) guests were treated greatly, meanwhile we were ignored. Lastly, Christi was the only sweet employee. Though, I don’t want to blame this on discrimination I do believe your team should be trained better on guest service.

***PAY CASH, the restaurant charges a very significant amount of credit card processing fee, and next time would ask for a paper/hardcopy of receipt, as items on the handheld payment machine was challenging to read***...Pricing: Got 2 items, a $7 app. and a $18 entree, with taxes and group gratuity (18-19%), Total came out to be around $32.Seating: 8/10, Space was clean and organized. Our party was seated at the room right next to the patio, wish the room would have "floor-to-ceiling" type of windows so the guests can have the options to have the lake views both inside and outside.Food: Was not bad, 7/10.Service: Was GREAT, 10/10. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted, and the hostess immediately went to set up our table(s). And everyone we interacted with were friendly.Other comment(s): Menu was a bit sticky, greasy, may need a bit of wipe down as that may be off-putting; Due to the design of the patio, when the staff members went out for a smoke break, the cigarette smoke would get blown toward the patio dining space. Want to be 100% clear that this is NOT the staff members fault!; A couple of the patio furniture pieces have significant rust, just want to give the management the heads-up!Overall: 7.8/10, Would return if in the area.

First time there, from out of town. Food was very good. The Chicken Alfredo was on point. Love the patio area to dine looking out at the lake, seeing the sun set and other awesome sites, while sitting there. Definitely would recommend for dining.
