I've been to TLC Vegan Kitchen many occasions and have always had great experiences in terms of the food and service. Unfortunately, my most recent experience for their Easter Brunch was dissapointing. Our waiter greeted us and instantly decided to share that his last table had a $200 bill but only tipped him $10. This was off-putting and inappropriate to bring up to customers. When our check was brought out, I was prepared to pay in cash. The waiter informed me that the restaurant may not have change but would see how he could accommodate me. Ultimately, the waiter returned and said he was unable to give back change. I mentioned that this should be on their website as a "heads-up" to anyone who is paying with cash. Another waitress was brought out and she explained their policy is written on their menu. I was unaware of this policy before because I didn't have a need to pay with cash previous times.The waitress then decided to question me and ask, "What, did you not want to tip your waiter?" I was offended at this point and demanded for my money back. The staff's behavior in combination with the lack of proper advertising of policy, is the reason why I will NOT be returning.

I really wanted to Love this place!! This was my first time here, I came for Easter Brunch. We had a reservation and was seated right away. I was so excited to try the food. The wait for the waiter to come to the table wasn’t bad considering it was Easter. The tofu scramble was good. I didn’t like the sausage but it was cooked perfectly. The potatoes as you can see were burned to a crisp. I asked was that the consistency of them, they said yes or they would be soggy but brought me out another batch. I put some of those next to the first batch so you could see the difference in the 2nd pic. The jelly for the biscuit taste weird. The waffle was ok but the gravy they put on top was not good, had a grits consistency!! I’m on the fence if I would come back, I might give the dinner menu a chance!! The waiter needs to work on his customer service, nice guy but some of the things he was wasting to us was outrageous. Example: he handed us the ticket, we said we’ll pay now, he responded you got about a second, I have another table that’s been waiting a long time.. we’re looking like WHAT!!! A mess, I was going to come back but not so sure now!!

BEST food ever!!! I drove from Hurst to Richardson and found this place. I loved the dining room set up. Service was great! I got the Fried TLC Chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The portion was huge!!!! It was DELISH!!!! It was so good, I ordered another meal to go. A++

This was the best vegan food I have had in Dallas! Our server was also superb recommending food to us! We ordered the chili cheese fries and cauliflower wings! Both were delicious!! They gave us a lot of food which was really nice of them! It is little pricey but the food is quality. Our server also recommended mixed berry cobbler which was not on the menu but it was amazing!! Came out nice and warm! We are definitely going back here. I wish I can remember our servers name but he was a white gentleman with a gray beard.

Unbelievable gourmet vegan food!! Impeccable menu selections! We had the lasagna and chicken fried steak with the best garlic mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy you’ve ever tasted. Also split the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, which was on point. Got a pizza and two desserts to go bc everything was so delicious.Plus our sever Ki was a delight! Def 10/10 recommend. We’ll be back!!Here’s the takeout pics bc we devoured the dine in:- Pepperoni pizza- Gluten free chocolate cake- Bananas Foster bread puddingDietary restrictions: All vegan menu with gluten free options
There was some confusion about my reservations but it all worked out. I was not aware this was such a small locale. I wouldve had it catered at a different location. Destiny was out server and she was very professional.

I just had a "pulled pork"...jackfruit sandwich at TLC Vegan Cafe and it was excellent. A lot of flavor and fresh tasting. And, best part is it is vegan! They have lot's of southern confort foods, vegan style I noticed on their menu. A lot of fried foods however so be careful. Overall, a great experience and great food.
