The food was excellent. In all candor, based on location and price the food should be excellent. Many fun choices but not too many to be overwhelming. The cafe is comfortable and relaxed but upscale. An interesting selection of mixed drinks and what seemed an updated wine list and improved.

This place shocked me. The staff was on point. The service is amazing. Very friendly, helpful on their toes. Make you are taken care of. Food was beyond what I was expecting. The red chili had flavor and had a little heat. The nachos were some of the best I have had. Overall, it's a great place to go.

This place is great! I gave this (my second visit) a 5 star overall review mostly thanks to the waiters. The service has been amazing both times and it’s great to eat where it seems like the staff actually enjoy their jobs!We came here around 1:00 PM on a Sunday, and although it was busy, it didn’t seem too crowded. I gave atmosphere 4 stars because it was just a little loud and we could barely hear each other. By the way, I highly recommend getting reservations! Now for the food. Everyone was happy with their food. Even the kids. Our son got mac and cheese. This wasn’t some boring Kraft Mac. This was scratch made and he loved it (so stringy). Our daughter also loved the cheeseburger and it was too much for her. A typical adult would have been happy with that! I’ll quickly run through the other items since we had 10 people:Chicken fried steak = Very goodManny Melt = AwesomeTexas Benny = FantasticHalf Rack Ribs = Terrific2020 Club = Very good3 Little Pigs = Very goodShroomin Burger = Very goodHumble Rooster = Story time…. First, ask for the spicy sauce on the side or off completely. Our waiter warned me and I agreed. It turns out it’s the sauce, not the chicken, that’s spicy. Sadly, the kitchen failed to oblige and I found out what he was talking about. However, he was very apologetic and insisted that they redo it for me, which I appreciated. He even brought out some iced milk for the burn haha. Thank you Nick C.!!The new meal came out not too long after. The good news is, they left the sauce off this time. Bad news, they forgot the gravy! Haha that’s just my luck. I let it go, though. Luckily, someone at our table ordered extra gravy for the CFS, so I was set.TLDR: Food was great, wait staff was amazing, kitchen might not catch all adjustments, restaurant is a little noisy.Parking: Plan to walk a short distance as most close spots are 30 minute parking 8:00am-6:00pm.

First time to eat here. Service and food were very good. We were there during Happy Hour, and we just ordered appetizers and drinks. Drinks and 3 different appetizers were great. We will differently be going back again.

Disappointed in the selection of wine, now. They've cut back on choices and not good ones!

We had a group of 6 go there for dinner. This is a bit long but a very accurate account of our experience. First there is no parking close to the restaurant. The parking lot is a block away, no valet service although one third of the lot was reserved for valet. Maybe only weekends? We arrived and waited for a table to clear after refusing to sit at the bar seating. This was 6pm. We were seated, handed menus, and then waiting a few minutes before anyone took a drink order. The half off appetizers were offered but once we placed one order, the other two couples were ignored. The appetizer (or half of it) arrived before the drinks. The drinks arrived and so did the chips for the original appetizer. We then ordered a second appetizer. Would have done it the first time. After the drinks were delivered we were asked about ordering the main entre. No mention of the special. The dinners came within a reasonable time but the dishes for the appetizers were left on the table. And the first round of drink glasses were also left. Half way through dinner they were finally removed. We ordered chicken fried steak. The breading fell off the steak before it could be cut. Technical mistake. The meat was remarkably unseasoned and had it not been for the pepper gravy would have been devoid of taste. The vegetables were a nice compliment but were overdone and mushy. The mashed potatoes were delightful. The other entre was the shrimp and grits. This was the best of the meals. The shrimp was slightly overcooked but the grits were spot on.The pork chop was just too much. Could easily have been half the size and at $38.00 for the plate could have served 2. Overdone, and without any significant seasoning. The Pasta dish was delightful. The pasta slightly overdone but overall well prepared. We had asked for the shrimp to be blackened but that was not done.My overall recommendation is for the price and service this is not the place to expect perfection. Would return but only after carefully considering other options.
