This review is almost painful to write. Casa Ole is a little piece of my hometown and I have given it multiple chances before posting. I LOVE Casa Ole food and have found it somewhat consistent across the board until now. My first few experiences at this location were ok, but that was a while back. Fast forward to the recent years and especially months. Each visit getting more dismal than the last. Most recently, last month, we went in on a weeknight around 6:00 pm. It took us over 20 minutes to get a table - not because there were no tables or there was a wait list. The hostess was sitting at the bar talking to the bartender. No one came to the waiting area at all. I finally went over and told her there were now 4 families waiting. Food took 35 minutes to get to our table and when we tried to check out, again no help. When I asked again (the hostess) to help us take care of our bill she replied with "I will when I get to it, I am busy right now." Hmmm. Anyway, last night, we decided to give the place one last shot. Big Mistake. BIG. HUGE. Same scenario different day. We arrived at 6:52, were ignored until 7:10 (when the only waitress working came up to seat us in her section) NO salsa made, waited a while for our waters, and received 1/2 basket of chips. Ordered enchiladas and they were so tough and chewy, I needed a knife to cut them. A knife for enchiladas! Come on....Asked for a refill on chips and got those after we finished our meal. With all this said, I need to add that there were only 3 tables that had patrons eating. The rest were either empty or dirty. Floors were disgusting too. I understand that employment has been a struggle, but this was just pathetic. I feel for the poor waitress who seemed to be doing everything. Wishing she could've gotten some help from the hostess hanging out in the bar ignoring all the customers.

Yikes. Feel terrible for the staff that was working. One waitress, a hostess and seemingly one person in the kitchen? What management allowed this place to open back up so understaffed? Restaurant was pretty full with folks waiting at the door 15+ minutes to be seated as the hostess was running around trying to get drink orders to help out. Most waiting 45 minutes or more for food. Good quality was horrendous on top of it all. I get that considering how stretched thin everyone was. Terrible experience and will never be back, as there are a dozen restaurants in town who do have it figured out. Hope they can staff up to give everyone some relief or just close back down before the poor waitress and hostess quit, or someone gets sick from the food.

First visit. Great food. Really good service. Fair prices. Will absolutely go back.

Awesome beans and rice! I enjoyed my plate of a flour tortilla and beef fajita taco ? even my child approved

Great meal even better service the kitchen was slow however Christina was amazing at checking in on us. The nachos could have been better more beans and cheese for the beef fajita. Other than that the sampler was great.

We placed a to go order and there was only one lady working the front so the wait was over 20 minutes. All we ordered was chips and salsa and 2 margaritas. I'd normally give it 2 stars due to lack of help and disorganization, but I gave it 3 stars because it's kinda neat that you can get drinks to go on a Sunday! Hopefully they hire some more staff soon because they need it for how busy it gets during dinner hours.

Boy this s*** was f****** nasty. Straight up. First of off, y'all can't clear your restaurant for anything. Numba 2, y'all's salsa tastes like ketchup and your quacamole tasted like Mayo. The water we asked for was clearly tap water and y'all microwaved my taquitos. Lame as hell. When we got our veggie crisps and chimichanga the veggie crisp tasted like a prison pizza with ketchup and my chimichanga with rice and beans was clearly microwaved. Props to the chef doe, Mr microwave because he's carrying this restaurant. On God though dont waste your time here not even Gordon Ramsey can't save this place. This place is for reals a hole in the wall. 0/5 bruh do not pass go do not collect 200.

Since we are new to the area and are trying almost all restaurants in Georgetown, we decided to try this place. We walked in and waited a few mins for someone to acknowledge were there as there was a Wait to be Seated sign. We were seated and our waitress brought us chips and salsa(s) and the took our orders. First off, the salsa was so watered down it did not stick to the chips. Did not like that. The I ordered the chimichanga which was supposed to have queso over it and did not. I asked the waitress about that and she said she didn't know but would ask. She brought me queso dip in a cup so I could pour it over it. As a waitress you should know how the meals should be served. I could not drink my water as it tasted like pool water, way too much chlorine. Needless to say, we wanted to like the place be won't recommend or be back.

We've seen this place multiple times when coming to this shopping center so we decided to stop. Unfortunately, we were disappointed due to the very bland Mexican food and poor service.

Everything was a mediocre experience. Atmosphere: OK, lots of fake plants all over. While they add color, they are dust and lint collectors that business owners virtual never clean and the result is a filthy restaurant. Service: Got seated relatively quick, waitress arrived at the table within 2 minutes of being seated. All staff we encountered were friendly and nice. One take away is the waitress never refilled my tea, and I purposely set it at the end of the table in plain sight to see if she'd notice it. Food: The only real major disappointment was the complimentary salsa they bring to your table with a bowl of chips. The red salsa might as well had been water. When you dip a chip into salsa and lift the chip out horizontal, you expect a fair amount of salsa to remain on the chip. Not here. You might as well dip your chips in a glass of water as you'll get the same result...a chip with nothing on it. Heavily watered down salsa! The main entree had enough flavor to taste good, but not "OMG". Keep in mind this experience was around 5pm on a Wednesday and the place was 90% empty. Would I come back? Only if I never found a place better.

I understand everywhere is going through a staffing shortage right now, but this place was slow at 3pm when it was hardly busy. Slow service and food is pricey for what it is.

I was actually in town today to enjoy some Casa Ole but man was I sadly disappointed. It took a while for them to seat us (short staffed so forgiveness given). They didn’t have any queso. The salsa tasted like plain tomatoes. Nothing like I remember from even months ago. The rest of the food was tasty. The waitress was super friendly and the order was proper. BUT, I was very disappointed in the manager today. I signed up for Casa Ole Rewards and upon competition, was to rec

Tried this place for the first time and wasn't impressed. I've had better cheese enchiladas from a HEB TV dinner. Enchilada sauce tasted watery and the salsa was bland. Never a good sign when the salsa is bland. Drive the few extra miles to El Charrito for some really good Mexican food.

My waitress Jessica made my lunch very special with her wonderful accepting attitude. The food was good as usual but Jessica treating me as I hoped during my visit really made my visit memorable.
