Got the munchies while having a pint at Red Horn Brewing - something about great beer wakes up the Hop Queen's tapeworm, so it doesn't matter if we already had a big lunch - if she sees a food truck, we're getting something. Ordered outside, and they brought it to us when it was ready. We got the nachos, and for the meat picked birria - we got an enormous plate to split, along with salsa and stew to dip/dribble/spill, as we attacked the nachos like starving wolves. I wouldn't want to see the video, it was probably embarrassing to witness. The flavours were spot on and fresh, probably one of the best plates of nachos we've had. Another truck to watch for, even as a destination for a meal - it was that good!

My recent visit to Taconmaye Mexican Food Truck was incredibly disappointing. Despite a confirmed 9 PM closing time, we arrived at 8:30, only to be greeted by a rude and agitated staff member who tersely stated they were closed without offering any explanation. The unprofessionalism and lack of transparency regarding their hours left me thoroughly disappointed. I won't be returning, and I'll be cautioning others against visiting. Overall, a truly regrettable experience. The atmosphere, which we hoped to enjoy with live music and the nearby bar, was overshadowed by the unpleasant encounter at the window. It's disheartening when a place with potential fails to deliver on customer service. I believe a simple explanation for the early closure and a more courteous response could have salvaged the situation. Unfortunately, this experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I'll be actively discouraging friends and family from considering Taconmaye Mexican Food Truck for any future outings. They have lost not only my business but potentially that of others who value respectful and transparent service.

They always keep me coming back because of the Birra tacos and the Chicken Quesadillas! This food truck is no joke. Outstanding food and some of the best Birra tacos. I had one bad experience, but that changed very quickly after they were aware of the problem. I will continue coming here and recommending them to everyone I know! Thank you again! Waited over 30 minutes for tacos that weren't good. Seems like there is just one person taking orders & cooking and I guess there were a lot of orders ahead of us. I wish the person would have given us a heads up on the long lead time because we were not expecting that. We started getting annoyed around the 20 minute mark. We got birria tacos and birria quesadillas and we didn't like the flavor. Not like any birria we've had before. We won't be back to this food truck.

So i added a review on this place about a month ago but some reason, it's been deleted ???? Wow! So here it is again.About a month ago we came to this place to eat , drink and listen to live music. So this food truck was the only Mexican food so i saw that the reviews were good . I wanted to order a burrito so I asked the girl what was in the burrito, she seemed bother because apparently they were getting ready to close , she was not very friendly, I am new to this place , that's why I was asking , she had to get up from her chair to look into my question, apparently I was bothering her because she had to get up from her chair . Short story , the burrito was good but the big Spanish girl is very rude . She seemed bother when I was just trying to place an order . Second part , so today we are here and again , she was very rude so I just waked away and never going to order from here again. It's a shame because the burrito is very good .

Only reason I am giving it a 1 star and not more it’s because the girl that worked there tonight. She is a thick girl with color contacts . She is not very friendly. I was asking questions about the burrito because I heard it was good . She seemed bothered. Instead of representing the place . She had 0 personality and not the friendliest. Even when we picked up the food . She hands over the bag and turns around:( no bueno

We ate at RedHorn where Taconmaye sells their food. Second time we go there just to eat the Taconmaye food. It was delicious!!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian taco was delicious. It was perfectly seasoned. We also tried the fajita tacos and meat was really tender and high quality meat. The birria tacos were also perfectly seasoned.
Had the beef birria tacos today and they were so delicious! Sometimes food is art and this joint makes art. Going to have to try their other stuff. I'll be back!
