Joe's Place is the spot for the best burger and fries in Gilmer, TX. Joes is the quintessential little burger joint where Joe takes your order, cooks your burger and then once you've enjoyed it he collects your cash. Best homemade fries I've had in a long time. Pass that place on the main drag and go one block over by the courthouse; you'll be glad you did!!!
If you pass through Gilmer and don't stop at Joe's, you've missed one heck of a treasure.Joe preps the kitchen. Joe makes the burgers. Joe rings you up. It is truly Joe's Place. Get the double meat double pepper jack cheese. You won't regret it!
