the owner promotes her own racism! you don't even have to figure it out for yourself. one year ago this woman, Lisa Gaines, Harassed an innocent by-standing muslim woman and posted her on facebook saying "we have been infiltrated" put this bigot out of business thank you!

This a refreshing addition to Gilmer. For some it may seem 'pricey', but the food is exceptional and its comparable to lots of places in Longview and "no drive"!! I recommend this place as a wonderful addition to Gilmer! Tina

Good, clean, natural food; well prepared and well presented. As a truck driver, it's oftentimes difficult to find real food. After having made a delivery in Gilmer, I looked around for a healthier option, admittedly not expecting much given the town size. I was pleasantly surprised to have found The Market Bistro within walking distance. The atmosphere is comfortable. The staff is friendly, and the food is good. And real. If and when I am back in Gilmer, I hope to visit again. The mom/wife working the counter (Jen?) was kind hearted and welcoming. +1 for Gilmer

Absolutely horrid establishment. Staff were very rude and careless towards myself and other customers. Food lacks flavor. Nothing special at all. Much better places to eat in Gilmer. I'm usually pretty generous with my reviews, but I was extremely dissatisfied with The Market Bistro.
